So good to hear an un-hyped review on the AFUL P5.

You are the first reviewer who doesn’t like the performer 5. Everyone loves the bass, interesting that you found that it’s the worst feature. To each his own I guess.

Great in-depth review, thanks for spending the time to give comparison at the same price bracket. That Heyday seems very promising although I do wonder what you would think of the performer 5 in a EQ alteration. Mine has some elevation on the 4k region and a slight tone down on the lower bass, this brings the tuning in a more revealing/clear style that makes it obviously more engaging while retaining the safe core aspects of its drivers.

Thank you! EQ does help a lot with the AFUL Performer 5 as I found myself playing around with the bass and air region from time to time and it did improve on some aspects of the IEM. Although I'm not the most fond of EQ whenever I review an IEM, it is a very important thing to consider so it's awesome you found a way to improve your Performer 5. Enjoy!

Glad that there's a real KZfaqr who didn't jump on the hype train of praise. Thank you for honest review. I got these but didn't like them. So started looking for reviews what I am missing and I totally agree with you. I'm sending these back

Love Remi wolf and great review. I was just listening to my P5 earlier this afternoon and love myself for the price. Competes with more expensive sets I’ve had for longer already.

Great video! Would like to hear an in depth review about the yume 2
@mokisan Жыл бұрын
Great video, really nice production quality. One thing missing would be you spending a bit more time on each comparison. You deserve more subs :) To ask again, how does the heyday fares againstt the aful? I am particularly worried about the heyday having less mid bass and sub bass than the aful. But the aful has that clean treble which I quite like. I am confused between these two.
@obodioreviews Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I appreciate the support :) The Heyday, in my opinion, is more detailed but less fun compared to the AFUL. The bass of the Aful is more fun and rumbly but I find that the Heyday has better detail and cleaner texture. If you want something fun but relaxed, get the Performer 5. But if you want something very energetic and detailed, get the Heyday :) Hope I answered your question!
@mokisan Жыл бұрын
@@obodioreviews thanks for the reply, yes they do answer my question. I wonder if the bass on heyday is good for some bass light songs. I listen to jpop and rap and hip-hop.
@VanDungLe2510 Жыл бұрын
@@mokisan See, he has almost the same impression of the Aful P5 compare to mine. Although i don't have the Heyday yet, if i EQ the Pr1 Pro down to the Heyday, then yes i think it's suitable for some lighter bass song. The Heyday tonality is on a leaner side

do you have a dac recommendation under $100 or are you on the side of "apple dongle is good enough for iems" ? thanks
@obodioreviews6 ай бұрын
Realistically, apple dongle is good enough if you're a casual listener. Otherwise, I highly recommend investing in something like the Moondrop Dawn Pro, Simgot DEW4X or Tanchjim Space Lite

Great review! I was looking into this IEM because of how much hype it was getting on the internet, and honestly, i was surprised to see just how much detail and thought you put into this review! Everything flowed well, the sectioning off of every facet of the IEM into different chapters really makes the video feel very structured and easy to follow as well! You're doing an incredible job! Excited to see more from you! 😁

Thanks for the review, sad to hear that its a not as coherent tri i3 pro. Just curious did you try tip rolling to extra wide bore tips like the sedna crystal or tri clearion?
@obodioreviews Жыл бұрын
The widest bore I had here were the Newbees and it did improve on midrange clarity. Sadly, it wasn't enough to really fix the fundamental issues that it had for me.

@@obodioreviews oh well it was worth a shot. Thanks for saving me money, saw your cliff notes on MRS discord, sadly the cons fit me to a T. Maybe im reading into it too much but it seems that you are alot nicer in the vid review.

@@llysender I spent more time with it and I found that it's not an unredeemable mess as the lusciousness, comfort and smoothness will definitely cater to some. I, however, am not one of them and I still stand by my initial impressions for my preference.

I haven't tried the AE, but against the normal timeless it's less technically capable but has a more natural timbre and better tonal balance

Great video! What's your favorite iem under 200$?
@obodioreviews Жыл бұрын
Currently, my favorite IEM under $200 is the TangZu x HBB Wu. Although on the edge of the spectrum, I honestly find that it's on a league completely on it's own. Otherwise, I also really enjoy the SeeAudio Yume 2 and the original Zetian Wu. Thanks for the support!
