A small one-handed mezzaluna knife (rocker knife) works very good for putty. I've tried the pizza roller, and it's definitely better than a razor knife, but the rocker was a game changer with thin-rolled material for making tarps, bed rolls, etc.

I will take a look to this knife. Tnx, mate... I love when people help me... 😀

Great built of this model, for cutting the tarp, I use a pizza cutter covered with a bit baby powder as it never pulls or rips the item, its just a thought..

Green stuff is great for tarps I've found. Also water works just as well as talcum when thinning it out. Just put some on your rolling surface and the rolling implement and away you go. Great channel and I subscribe.

Great video, any reason you use CA glue for stowage instead of styrene cement?
@dioramadevil Жыл бұрын
Tnx. It is stronger and instant. I like to work fast.
@worldwarmini3919 Жыл бұрын
@@dioramadevil yes, and it looks very natural too; nothing looks melted into each other.
@dioramadevil Жыл бұрын
@@worldwarmini3919 There is another way. You can put togeather the things with some styrene cemment (Extra thin or Revell contacta). That way you have planty of time to position the parts perfectly. When you are sure about the position, you add a dropp of extra thin CA, and make the bond bullet proof... I do this with figures.

can you do painting engines? I suck at it
@dioramadevil Жыл бұрын
Hmmm... I usualy dont do open engines. If they are not related to the storry of the dio. The closest thing is the Zundap motorcycle engine. You can check it out here:kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f7-DmsZ93cedhn0.html
