My parents were from West Punjab. I can understand the feeling what Sarrif shaib expressed. Thanks to Google Earth , I showed my father his pind wasun near Mandi bhawaldeen in Pak and observed the deepest soalfull happiness on his face.

Jinnah was responsible for massacre. And you are asking for whole Punjab lol 😏. @@saksham1040 Jinnah was a very true leader but it was nehru and ghandi who were responsible. Read the 14 points of jinnah he never wanted partition. Read the book by jaswant singh on jinnah.

ਹਿੰਦ ਪਾਕਿ ਵੰਡ ਦੀ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ ਇਹੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਰ ਗਏ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਾੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਧਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਕਾਸ਼ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਇੰਨਸਾਨੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

We have much in common. Not only the language, the country, the culture, the pain and sufferings but also my mother was born in Frala, Layalpur. Now we are related in many ways. We share the same feelings of pain and also some relief that now I know someone from where my maternal genes come from. I absolutely love the way you've expressed the emotions of millions in this poetry. You are the second one after Amrita Pritam who have managed to bind the truth and heartfelt feelings in this. These are the questions that our generations will keep on asking the people who were responsible for the bloodshed of innocents. I like you to know that she was also newly wed in 1947. She was the most beautiful girl in Frala. My family still talks about her beauty and wisdom. Keep up the good work. Love to hear more of it. You are from where my nanke were. Bless you all!

1947 Saadi zindgi cho'n hun niklda hi nhi. Merey bazurag 47 vich apna pind Khyber pakhtoonkhwa vich chhad aaye. Hun oh pind India vich kitthon labhiye? 47 bhul nhi skda. 47 bhulna vi nhi chahida. Bas, eho dua hai ki sarhad de dono paase vasde lok khush rehan...

Paa g bohat sahi aakhya tusi. Aay siastaa tay riastaa nay sanu sabh lokaa nu sirf ujarray tay dukh ditay nay. Sanu bohat chiro baad pata laga k sady naal aay netaa hath kar gaye nay. We all are suffering the heat of great partition.It should never have happened.Nevertheless massacre of people was fuelled by the Britishers.Divide and Rule.We still miss those real Punjabi places like Lahore,Peshawar,LAYALPUR ETC WHich were the hearts of punjab.
