Taika can both direct Thor for the "money" and put his all into the film. The panels take that a Director wouldn't spend hrs into an MCU project just for money is shortsighted. Especially when the quote by Taika doing it for the money mentions the birth of his 2nd son being a financial reason. I'd direct She-Hulk season 2 if it meant my daughter would be financially stable lol.

Not much from any Shang-Chi 2 will be filmed for about a year or more since Simu tore his Achilles. In like 8+ months maybe he can do some of the non-action scenes but he was so adamant about being the one to do his stunts and fight scenes in his movie and I doubt that will change. I think Shang-Chi 2 is at least a year and a half from filming anything.

Taika def did do the movie without a personal connection … but he really did sink so much of himself into it and get representation in the film. I mean he had just had another kid and knew he needed to make a living to support his kids.. but also he’s hilarious and says wise ass shit all the time. For this dumb rag (Variety) try to make drama about him just wanting to do the Thor films for the cheddar only, ughhhhh is just so glib ( I thank Tom Cruise and Matt Lauer for the word “GLIB” ). If I could write a movie plot, I'd go batshit insane with it. It would be a Batman story, but multiversal not like the Flash did. No, Batman may be helping test something of another member of the JL or something, mostly off-screen stuff when the test goes wrong and our Bruce, whoever is playing him at the time, winds up in an alternate reality. He finds that his things are a bit.. preserved if you will, and curiously goes to find out why and finds that this particular Earth is literally ran by not only that world's Joker, but a slew from across storylines in a Council of Kangs/Council of Ricks sort of situation. And most of the otherwise heroes are obviously Jokerfied so Bruce has to dredge the bottom of his contact list to try and find any help. Kinda thought about having him have to team up with a more likable Black Mask and maybe one other usual villain in order to get a leg up in the fight. I could even see it being like a two part plotline

Constantine is gods and monsters but I like the CW Constantine character also he is the voice actor for the animated movie versions and is Edward kenway from AC blackflag Dr. Fate Zatana Etrigon

The swamp thing tv show on the cw could have been so good. It had James Wan at the helm and it was good but they pulled the financing at the last minute and Wan had to turn it into an 8 episode show instead of 10 with half the money it was supposed to have. There were politics involved that ruined a gem.

i think when it comes to marvel projects it's important to manage expectations, cause i mean yes it's easy to tell what's a cash grab just by the title but it doesn't mean it won't work and projects like civil war is one of them, just the idea of avengers fighting each other is a story that writes itself and there was a point where marvel understood this, before disney had more sway in the decision making and hopefully they get back to their roots cause projects like secret invasion and she hulk that had a lot of hype around it and disney ended up putting unnecessary pressure on the producers and writers, where projects like quantumania, love and thunder and the marvels suffered cause there was not enough supervision on set or they didn't have enough resources to do the job right and that's cause there was basically a mindset that people are going to see these projects regardless and for a multi billion dollar company it's ridiculous and irresponsible for them to put all their eggs in one basket...that is why i loved the idea of a special presentation cause if she-hulk was just an hour and some minutes long they could have been done with the project much earlier, saved some time and money that could have been used to focus on the projects that needed it more, cause even if theres 300 million allocated for a series...post production and pre production still need time to cook...and i feel like if they took 200 million and most of the time it took to make she-hulk they could have used it for secret invasion, love and thunder, quantumania and the marvels would has enough space and supervision to be what it should've been, love and thunder and the marvels needed the supervision based on the inexperienced directors...secret invasion and quantumania mostly just needed time, guardians 3 was just as good as the 2 before it cause James Gunn understands the nature of the beast... this is how i know deadpool 3 is going to be good, Ryan Reynolds has been hands on and fought for his character from the very start, he's had a clear cut out vision and refuses to let anyone else touch it...

I think this is a hot take but to me Agatha was part of why Wandavision's ending fell flat. No hate to the actor but I think the show would have flowed better with a different reveal. Haven't listened to the song since the first time I heard it in the show lol. The Agatha show may be the first MCU property I skip because of how strong the witch themes will be and the potential for LGBTQ relationships in the forefront

I hate the question "who asked for this?.." When it pertains to moves or shows because who the hell asked for Ironman 1 when it was first announced? A small audience and now look at Ironman. Who asked for ANY movie or show that's ever come out????? If it's a good idea and they're willing to pour in the work needed to make sure it's good then do it and let's see what happens.
