@@tqhung166 if you watch vipers steam, he has little idea about the game mechanics - his chat basically is telling him how to play. He is very good at multi-tasking, and once he knows the various civs, his gameplay will improve dramatically. Good win Aussie_Drongo, you've done us Aussies proud :-)

Vipers video is 30 something minutes long. This one is 2226. And in this one you don't have the mass convert from drongo. If you watch vipers video you'll see he's learning as he goes where as drongo has a great knowledge of aoe4 civilizations and mechanics at this point. I can't wait to see them match more in the future as I respect and love watching both content creators.

Your early game economic micro was so on point. Can't wait to play the game. This channel is definitely contributing towards game purchases imo. Viper's Rus game was a bit lazy I think. He hadn't gathered the hunt generated from his forward landmark I think when you made your final push to his base. He's a beast on AoE regardless.

Can I ask why you hotkey your base to '5' mate? Seems awkward when I do it, '4' seems so much more natural. Interested in why, keep up the great content.

How do you cancel animation for shooting faster. Does it affects the scouts only?

I know its something league of legends players do on some champions. When you order a unit to attack, they play a little animation of them swinging a sword or shooting an arrow for like, .5 seconds before they make another attack. Well, for some units, you can give them a move order right after their attack order, so they stop their animation of shooting an arrow, but the arrow still gets fired, then you give them another attack order and they'll shoot another arrow before they would usually be allowed to.

Hear me out on this one, so what if you bring 1-2 vils to the attack and whenever there is a fight you build just one piece of wall and put all your archers on top, is that a viable strategy? (Especially with Chinese because I believe they build faster than other civs) I cannot try it now because I havent bought the game yet.

No , they do not ! They're corpses remain and do not decompose unless all the food in them is harvested

Just for those comparing this to an AoE3 v AoE2, keep in mind that the AoE2 crew have been prepping for AoE2 tournaments and this game is relatively new to them. Another point of contention is the style of game play. Laming is fround upon in AoE2 ladder/regular games, Drongo did it, but viper would not dare to. Good game either way, well done.
