In this video, we are going to discuss the Age that started after the death of Chaucer and continued till Britain entered in Renaissance. The century and a half following the death of Chaucer (1400-1550) is the most volcanic period of English history. The hundred and fifty years of the Revival period are singularly destitute of good literature. Though we don't see any major writers in this period, yet fifteenth century can be said to be the age of preparation, of learning the beginnings of science, and philosophy, the suggestive mythology, and the noble poetry of the Greeks and Romans. In this video, Arpita discusses major writers & two greatest books which appeared in England during this period namely Erasmus’s Praise of Folly and More’s Utopia.

Awesome video, very helpful for learner in short time Absorb much knowledge & revision of age of revival But these female writers are not there in the course. Yet we know that 1st female writer of Aphra Behn who wrote for the Survival of Life & earning for Bread Butter.
