@@thunderlordaeron134 no they are like the orcs, people mean the krule boys who are also orcs and not goblins. Lots of peoples first thoughts were this, mine included as soon as i saw them and being a lotr fan long before warhammer.

@@jakea3950 They named their kind "Hobgrot" If Grot (or Gitz) means "Goblin" then its clearly Hobgrot is Hobgoblin of Age of Sigmar. The Kruleboyz are the New Version of Hobgoblins of Age of Sigmar , even their characteristic is still the same like Hobgoblin , Cunning and Brutal .

Both sides have a leaner more athletic build to them. The Orruks have moved away from comedic slapstick to something much darker and spiteful. I like it!

Hoping the kruleboyz get some hobgrot wolf riders in the future. Or some other kind of fast flanking Calvary. Always been a green skin fan and I was hoping for a faction that was somewhere between the ironjawz and the bonespliterz.

The existing model is called Lord-Arcanum so I believe that the Knight-Arcanum is a new unit entirely.

It's interesting the push to keep a mix of male and female Stormcast Eternals. I like the female Knight-Arcanum and agree the masked option is much cooler than the bare faced one. I think I like the Knight-Vexillor the most. He has a lot of conversion potential. The new goblins are simply incredible. There is a strong sense of Wingnut Studio design behind these. I don't know, but there's something about them that remind me of what Peter Jackson was doing with the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit stuff. Really fantastic models all round and certainly won't hesitate picking up this set. Thanks for posting this!

There are new models on the horizon for them and now this amazing starter. Geez, GW is relentless, but you can't hate when it's all great. I'm loving these guys. My favourite is the troggoth with rider. Hopefully he will be a leader option and I'll add the spear and crossbow orcs and some fellwater troggoths. Will make a nice warband.

There is always the chance they do what they had to with the Indomitus box for 40k. It took an extra 4 months but everyone got a box without having to buy from the scalpers

Hi, sure, you can use your other Stormcast models in your army. I’ve a load of Stormcast that came with the Mortal Realms subscription so I’ll be using those in my army. (Even the Kruleboyz can be mixed with other Orruk Warclans like the Ironjawz and the Bomesplitterz if you want.) Thanks for watching! 👊

It's an awesome place to get started and the models are fantastic. This is one of my favourite box sets from GW. Add some of the Stormbringer magazine sets to this and you'll have loads of options.

Hmmm, I don't know! A little disappointed about the Kruelboyz aesthetic, and I was hoping Dominion might include scenery. I do like the Troggoth, perhaps I just need to wait for more info but feel they are a bit generic as a standalone faction. Hoping my mind will change in time, I was excited for this boxed set!

I was expecting terrain too but didn’t expect the larger centre piece models so I guess that’s a trade off. Be fun to make some swampy terrain. They aren't a standalone faction I believe, it says they are part of the orruk warclans so they are like a addon you can play solo or mix with the other 2 orruk forces.

@@tabletopskirmishgames The W40K 9th Command Edition starter had terrain, this is like Indomitus which didn't have any either. I'm hoping the Command Edition equivalent for AOS will have some new terrain, although it's more likely to be Stormcast Stormvault themed than swampy.

I'm worried the unit sizes on the warscrolls for the SCE won't match the number provided in the set, like with earlier sets with the Retributors.

@Tabletop Skirmish Games some people are talking on reddit about they´ll be three models by unit. The rumours said that the big guys will have 5 wounds...anyways, It´s GW, so anything can happen... Maybe the same could happen here as seen before with Retibutors and Evocators, having half two units.

Soul wars was the 2nd edition starter box, this is the starter for the upcoming third edition so I’m pretty sure it’s a replacement

I am brand new to Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Why do they only make a certain amount of these box sets and if you dont pre order when it comes up, you just dont get one. Like why wouldnt they have these in retail stores all year round?

Nice one, I’m just starting to play AoS too. Is this your first time with any tabletop games or have you played games like Warcry before? GW like their FOMO marketing 🤣 If you don’t get these, there’ll be other starter sets which may even come with some terrain but possibly fewer models. Those starter sets are great ways to get a nice amount of minis for a good price and they are usually always stocked. Thanks for watching! 👊

Now i took an interest in AOS because i realized its like fantasy battle chess..lol..Very cool!...And by starter sets do you mean they will sell both armies separately without the books? Thats a shame about their marketing but i guess theres always ebay..lol..and thanks for putting up an informative channel. Keep up the good work! :)

As much as I love the new Orruks I think I'd probably prefer if they were called something original.

They are very different to the other Warclans but a great look and I would imagine the Fimir would have had a similar aesthetic. Be cool to line them up with some Ironjawz or Bonesplitterz but I think they will look better as a single Warclan. Maybe some grungy looking Ironjawz would work, though? Thanks for watching! 👊

Despites looking good, I don't find the aesthetics of this models consistent with the rest of AoS (stormcasts and orks alike)... which makes super awkward to deploy with older models in one battlement (similar to the issue with Primaris and old marines)... Weird

Yeah, it will be interesting to see them next to the Bonesplitterz to see if it works but I think you are right. Maybe better to build a single Warclans with the Kruleboyz and even the new Stormcast. Thanks for watching! 👊

It's all Orruks.... 21 to 39. And the same number of HQs. Basically swapping 3 elites for 20 troops and a couple of small companions. And it's not like the Stormcast models are more epic or complicated. The Orruks models are at least as detailed and nice as the Stormcast but there's twice as many. They always do this and make the popular (human) army much less value for money but it's getting ridiculous now. I honestly feel like the Stormcast half is extremely disappointing compared to the Orruks

Not actively wargaming right now, but I do play d&d, and I have a totalitarian empire in my world, where Paladins enforce the law. I think my players will love to meet these Stormcast on the Battlemat, representing those paladins

Only dislikes are how many details & trinkets the orks have which would make the build and paint a pain :| and Really dislike the 20 unit the orks also have in there, not a fan of their aesthetic at all. Enjoyed all else :)

They look a bit like a crow and pheasant got together with a wildcat and made a crazy beast, which I kind of like 🤣 but yeah quite simple. The poses are a definite improvement on the previous Gryph hounds, much more dynamic.

That Knight-Arcanum model is not a guy, that's a woman and those weapons that are holding Preators aren't big axes or double-handed axes, those are halberds. And that bad guy from Hobbit is Azog.

Was looking forward to this boxset as a gitz/greenskin player. Not a big fan of the look they gave the hobgoblins, they look like some rip-off models from the Hobbit. I'll skip this set entirily sadly. After cursed city I won't be starting a new army with GW until it feels like they care about the customers more..

So not this has devolved into Space Marines VS Tollkien Orcs? Don't get me wrong, I like the designs, but WTF is happening here? Also the cinematic made me laugh out loud. "Chaos destroyed the mortal realms" Well maybe Sigmas shouldn't have created a ton of evil realms then! The guy reforged the whole setting, why did he even put greenskins and chaos in there?

Chaos almost did destroy the mortal realms, after the-world-that-was was destroyed by Archaon, Sigmar survived and was able to make the mortal realms, he searched for, rescued and convinced the other gods and goddesses to form a Pantheon and for a time there was peace, but Chaos can't be kept out forever and so in the final battle Sigmar threw his hammer at Archaon but it was just an illusion created by Tzeentch and the hammer was lost and so Sigmar lost the final battle and retreated back to Azyer and Chaos rampaged through the Mortal Realms. When Sigmar finished with the Stormcast he saw that the Realms were almost completely overrun and so began the Realmgate Wars and here we are now. Also one of the God's in Sigmars pantheon was GorkaMorka and created the Orruks, Ogors and Giants.

@@infinityjameslopez1514 Also Sigmar found some shiny space rock, gave it to other gods (that were nevermentioned before or since) and got the power to create realms for it. The AoS lore at launch was a fucking mess and I will bring it up as often as I can! Also: Why did the protector god of humanity invite Gork and/or Mork (I don't care if they share a name/body) into his new realm? They are the gods of the species that fights and kills EVERYONE FOR FUN!

@@HowToPnP Each God and Goddess was given a domain to rule over. Teclis/Trion Hysh. Nagash Shyish. Grimnar Aqshy. I'm not sure the conditions of their agreement but I'm sure Sigmar held GorkaMorka to a promise somehow that they would be able to rule their species as they see it as long as they keep them under control, also humans evolve when there is hardship, it helps them grow. Think about our world and how much senseless violence there has been and will be, not talking about religious or cultural conflicts but literally ones where one people think they can murder and kill with immpunity just because they can

New orcs do not look like warhammer orks any more, they moved in steps, first made brutes with a little different proportions and different armor and now took one more step ant turned warhammer orcs into completely different thing. And they lost all orcs charm and become just generic evil orcs. Well, good for me, less money spent on miniatures. At least on GW minitatures

I can't believe anyone plays this game. Paint the models, sure, they're good. But the games are awful and the company flat-out abuses and despises its customer base. When they destroyed WHFB, that was the last straw. I'm surprised the rest of you haven't learned and still buy this garbage game.

The stormcast are pathetic. Stormcast with spears and bigger hammers WOW GW, really smart. Also the pathetic muh diversity with the female stormcast is pathetic at well. Stop. it. The Old World GW Orks and Goblins and Hobgoblins that they've re-imagined are great though why did they remove the distinctive GW Orc heads and replace them with literal copies of the Orc heads from The Hobbit!? They even have a new Ork war beast that is basically the same as the The Hobbit, they make that model already.... very strange behaviour from Gdumbs.
