API stands for Application Programming Interface. In the context of APIs, the word Application refers to any software with a distinct function. Interface can be thought of as a *contract of service between two applications*. Creating your own API is key.

Yes and No. It is doing the research on what needs to be done next based on the goal. The issue is the expectation of having it execute all the tasks. Check my video on Cognosys

You can just go into chat gpt and ask "what do I need to do to build and scale a successful newsletter? Provide examples forr each step" done...

I will never let my open AI key be added to another site bot im not in controll of. this is basicly a way the site owner can run its own agents for free using a new key each request , those keys are farmed from others the demo is just a way to bait you into sharing your key

But you can easily 1. Change your key after experimenting with it, or set limits on your usage. I have done it and had no issues although, I completely agree, you need to choose wisely -I'm sure the scammers will be along soon.

Great video, thanks! What if you save an agent, and want to continue working on that with revisions? Can we do that? Because whenever I click on a saved agent and I just get “back,” “delete,” and “share”…

When it says task completed for the first task, did it provide the code for that? To create an email template, you need the code for that.

Pretty sure it will get there soon, but auto gpt has barely been out a few weeks. I expect some issues in the initial weeks

Alternatively, I would have to write the "Conclusions" chapter for a 16-page document of mine (WORD or PDF). The chapter should be 3/4 pages... Can you point me to an alternative tool that can generate it for free? Does it exist?

You might be able to simply use the free version Chat GPT for that. Dont think AI Agents will be of help there

@@SlayerMurda GPT4 is capable of that, but I dont think any tool can generate a 16 page doc in one go. You'll need to first start with subchapters and generate it invidually

Why have they realised a product that does not do anything? I do not get this; they have hyped all Auto GPT and agent GPT but it does nothing. pretty useless in my opinion

You require an open AI - API key to use it, which requires setting a paid account. Check my video on Open AI usage limits

I asked to create a PDF file(not to big) for me and I said to send it to my email once is done!! Been running for more than an hour and haven't finish yet. It seems to be doing the same tasks repeatedly. Did you try this before? Did It work?

I think I mentioned it, there is no finish. It's an infinite loop and you have to click stop agent when needed. This is why setting open AI limits is important

@@carlosacostarojas5901 don't hold your breath. It hallucinates performing tasks all the time. In this case it can't possibly send a pdf to your email because it would first need its own email address to send it from.

Good concept but only people with money will be able to get anything useful. When gpt4 and 5 is free for all, that's when the party starts🎉

pretty useless atm. just keeps repeating tasks that never actually get done even though it says it has completed them successfully.. lol just wastes your api key money.

So this thing does nothing, basically, and a more detailed prompt in ChatGPT would have let to the same results. Thanks for wasting 10 minutes of my life 😑
