ooo you are in for a treat in this movie, this is one of the most under rated thrillers, its hard to mix comedy with thriller but they did it perfectly

Just for clarification Jaby.. the coconut thingy is some raditional concept. There are some "interesting" traditions in hindu culture where people do stuff that hurts them physically(like getting hit in the head with coconuts or walking on hot coal). It is done to ask wishes to god.

This is an extreme low budget film coz it was Naveen's first film . Technicality is not good but it has a great story line and undoubtedly THE best investigation thriller from India . Swaroop the director is also a debutant and made wonderful effort in blending comedy with thriller . U need a little religious info to get the story completely .This story is a setup to show how perfect religious crimes are planned in India .

While I love the concept of this film and absolutely adore Naveen Polishetty, this is, by no means, the best "investigative thriller" from India. In my opinion, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015) is far better than this in almost every aspect.

8:27 he leaves his shed like this so that criminals(mainly thieves) think that he is still at his home and don't try to rob. If he closes his home from outside, people will know that he has left his home and would definitely try to do rob or ambush him

Jaby finnally u watching this. I was expecting that someday u will. This is such a fantastic thriller and ur choice is so good. This movie available in YT with Subtitles also. Omg at last 👏👏👏👏. You shld tell Naveen how you like the movie. You guys are the best. The movie was shot for around 50mil rupees approx and made 300million rupees Like you said it was very low budget. Btw Naveen poli Shetty Co-wrote the film

A little suggestion for you : If you want to see a good movie that can make your whole body and mind shaking to its core, then I STRONGLY (and I repeat it again, STRONGLY!) suggesting you to see a movie called MIRACLE IN CELL NO 7. This movie is sooo good even I still can't move on from this one, and I personally think this movie is waayyy more touching than All Of Us Dead, Train To Busan, or any Korean movies and series that l've watched before. You don't believe me? Then go watch it for yourselves, I DARE YOU NOW! And now I'll be waiting for your reaction tho😎🤘

Yes jaby the camera work is intentional by the director they used Anamorphic lens for distorted look and the lighting is inspired by old hollywood detective movies its bit of both creativity and low budget.

Salted toothpaste gang. It isa very popular toothpaste add where some people randomly enter anybody home and check there is salt in their toothpaste or not, after that they told the beniefit of salt in toothpaste. That was colgate add. This was reference of that, it was comedy punch in that scene.

They used anamorphic lens there.. hence the distortion. You can see the anamorphic flares when he stands near the window.
