Openfast's final show at Soul Kitchen San Diego - 1995. Other bands on the bill were The Classified opening with the Swingin Utters headlining.
Openfast was cited as one of the first of punk bands from Poway along with Blink 182 (see liner notes from Blink 182's first album 'Cheshire Cat') and Unwritten Law. Openfast lasted approx 1 1/2 years before breaking up and shared the stage with Blink 182, Korn, and P.O.D. amon other bands at the legendary venue SOMA Live in Linda Vista, CA. Singer Chris Armes later went on to form the punk band Agent 51, which was later signed by Billie joe Armstrong of Green Day to his label Adeline Records.
