This is exactly why I did not do so well in my high school band. I would always improvise and play what I heard in my head instead of what was on the page. I was born to compose music, not perform it ;)

How real is that? They kept breaking out into smiles while arguing. Yet, I bet those kind of conflicts do happen with creative people all the time. At what point does interpretation become composition?
