Even though gideon small brother and will are dead the memories they had are still within him but that doesn't mean their alive. Ward was killed by coulson but the moment hive entered his corpse he took all his memories but that doesn't mean it's him. Ward was a psychopath but he wasn't like Hive. They both obviously had different plans Ward was blinded by revenge while Hive wanted their to be absolute peace in the world in his own twisted way

The show should've brought at least one avenger for this season to help fight Hive. That would've been awesome.

Unfortunately this is a different (separate) universe. I mean it comes from the Avengers movie, but it's not the same universe after Coulson dies. I'll explain: while in AoS many major events from the movie-verse take place, the same doesn't apply for the movie-verse itself. Non of the events from AoS take place in the background of the Avengers, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, Avengers 3: Infinity War, or Avengers 4: Endgame or the standalone movies (they never mentioned anything, that happened in AoS). In that universe Phill Coulson is dead, S.H.I.E.L.D. is dissolved and that's it. Why didn't they show a single Avenger in all seasons of AoS? Why wasn't Tony Stark there, or Thor, or Hulk, or anyone? Because they can't. They can refer to them and to their main events, but that's all they can do. They try to tie it up with the movies, but they can't show anything from those, because the directors of said movies didn't wish it. They said, that in their universe (the movie-verse), Phill Coulson died and is dead, no Project Tahiti, no resurrection, nothing, he's dead. So AoS is an alternate reality or anything, it's not the prime universe of the MCU. Thus no Avenger will ever be shown there in person.

Love it how there are godlike villains in third seasons of any show like this one. Arrow Season 3 - Ra's al Ghul, a godlike villain who leads the League of Assassins Agents of SHIELD Season 3 - Hive, who is considered a god by HYDRA The Flash Season 3 - Savitar, a version of Barry from an erased future who was called the "god of speed" Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 - Mallus, a time demon who is also considered a god

I find it funny how the liquidfy scene from Hive was kept on Disney+ here in USA. I LOVE IT! Shame Moon Knight didn't show moments like this and even when they do its always a blackout.

Loved how Brett Dalton acted as hive. It was really menacing without sounding like a poser, unlike grant. However it fit Grant Ward cause that was his character he was in denial about everything in his life.

You forgot during the stinger to 4,722 Hours that that wasn't Will anymore on Maveth. That was Hive. * I love how even though Ward died, he was still heavily involved in the season even after that through Hive possessing his body. I think he knew that Hive possessing him would allow Hive access to everything he knew and experienced and could use all that. Ward still survived partially through Hive and it wasn't until both Hive and Lincoln totally disintegrated that Ward himself was truly gone too--and it meant that even before the Framework, the team's final impression of Ward was not when Coulson crushed his chest.

Something interesting is that when Hive was letting Malick try the exoskeleton, he was trying to get Malick to feel the sensation of using a superpower to take a life, not just having a superpower. Hive can use his parasites to devour human flesh like a walking piranha. Giyera can use telekinesis to fire a gun or throw a knife. But Charles (Robin's father) was also there. Every time Charles saw the future he saw someone's death. But Hive claims Charles possesses 'true power' just like him and Giyera. Hive believes true power is being able to use a superpower to take a life. Therefore he believes that when Charles sees a death in the future, he's CAUSING that death in the future. Sure, he might have been wrong. But he seemed to have a natural intuition for helping other Inhumans understand their powers. Hellfire went from blowing up everything he touched to near total control of his abilities within seconds of Hive infecting him with his parasites. So perhaps Charles was a hell of a lot more powerful than he ever realised. He died to soon to know for sure.

Hive likely enjoyed his exile on Maveth as it was once a utopian paradise until its Nine Cities warred against each other for selfish reasons. The PTSD of failing Maveth likely convinced Hive that he can only find peace if he lives in a world where everyone and everything is connected to him like a hive mind. Jemma assumed Hive destroyed the planet due to believing Hive to be a demonic monster. However, Hive said that he did not destroy the planet as he merely lived and watched the evolution and advancement of the alien civilization on Maveth. Hive just lived on Maveth likely as a leader (the Hive symbol in Maveth can mean many things). The inhabitants destroyed the planet themselves. Hive is a parasite but he is not stupid to devour the entire planet. Despite being an Inhuman, Hive is still a human at heart and he was likely just a normal person just trying to live a life on Maveth until everything fell apart. Hive wants to spread his Inhuman virus just to not relive the trauma of losing his home on Earth to human selfishness. If we look carefully into Hive's story, Hive likely considered just living a normal life on Earth until he saw the videos of humanity's wars and acts of violence pushing him to start his Inhuman Hive campaign. Hive started spreading his influence to other Inhumans after watching the videos of humanity's violence. Overall, it is the trauma of losing his home on Maveth that caused him to be the villain we know.

I hate to say this but Hive's right.. it seems most modern day villains are usually correct in their assessment and resolve. He never hurt anyone that didn't derseve it like Jemma and just wanted to connect everyone together so we can all fight for the same cause. To feel a connection, something we all want.. His way of going about it was lil messed up but hey, not all plans can be perfect

It's a French Peacoat. It doesn't have lapels like the usual peacoat you see. French peacoats have a shawl cut for the collar. If you want one, you can find loads of them on Amazon. You can also turn the collar up for the same look of you want. Hope this helps

If Loki had a decent weapon maybe him. With his sceptre if he managed to keep his distance it's possible (but not definite) that he could incinerate Hive, although at full strength Hive heals extremely quickly and can just regrow any damaged part of his body so I doubt it'd work. At best it would just keep him away. If Loki had no weapon, then definitely Hive. No matter what Loki did, Hive would heal and if he got close enough, Hive's microscopic parasites could just eat him.

@@wafflingmean4477 loki takes this one. Loki is stronger and has more combat experience. He was able to beat cap in hand in hand. the same cap that was able to beat black panther who is easily better than ward in hand to hand. Hive is strong, but unless he can tank loki's attacks he's done for.

Soooo i just realized that most likely a splinter bomb would have disintegrated Hive. Any arguments against? Only thing i can think is that he would maybe be able to separate himself from the affected area before it spreads to the rest of his cells

Splinter bomb are reversed engineered from diviner metal. Inhumans not effected by that.

Wouldn’t have worked. Splinter bombs can only target one organism at a time, and Hive’s a swarm. The splinter bomb most likely wouldn’t be able to jump from cell to cell fast enough.

I don’t think Hive actually planned to kill him until Malick started acting squirrelly in response to seeing his death. I’m guessing he then decided to start looking through his memories to see if he can know more about him to manage Malick’s instability, but finally realized that Malick betrayed his brother, completely ruining Malick in his eyes, and Hive gave up on him being autonomous. He finally decided to kill him once he no longer needed Malick himself.
