Iron Sting is also viable, but be mindful if you're already stacking EM from other sources since you want to balance your ATK and EM. And unless you have a huge surplus of sword billets, I wouldn't refine it as the small DMG increase from refinements doesn't justify spending your billets.

Most gacha games either find ways to make old characters viable or just straight up make mechanics or buff characters to help them keep up in their own way so it’s hardly anything new. Even then it still doesn’t fix the issue that 4 stars are still becoming progressively more mediocre as time goes on

@@amari7782 I think the main reason is that new 4 ⭐ characters are weaker than the old ones is because the others weren't balance design and the developers only new after players discovered that some 4 ⭐ characters were broken (Bennett is an excellent example of that).

@@Stro2101 except the problem is that the decision they went with is honestly worse overall since 4 stars have to rely heavily on a whole lot of outside factors such as specific reactions like thoma and Kiki or whole other characters like gorou and Sara to fully capitalize off their kits. Making 4 stars incredibly niche on top of them being incredibly hard to get already on top of all the hoops they went to “balance them” I honestly think they should’ve just kept making 4 stars on the lvl of Bennett and fischl and make 4 stars more generic instead of saving all the power for 5 stars

As someone who started this game because of keqing, and who actively pulled for her in her rate up banner - what dendro has done for Keqing is just so satisfying. Her aggravate teams are so incredibly fun and the damage I deal with them feels unreal

Same here Keqing and Noelle showcase is what made me download genshin and I pulled for them and have been building them to the absolute limit since 1.0 And with the releases of geo supports like gorou and strong weapons like stone thresher my Noelle became so godly but my keqing lagged behind. Even mist splitter and Sara did not push keqing as high as aggrevate has done for her. I'm hyped that she's a viable electro main dps now.

I'm so glad Keqing got a lot stronger after the dendro update because I pulled on her rate-up banner too and started to regret it once she started falling off. I still haven't pulled her once on standard or when losing 50/50, so I feel like getting her instead of Hu Tao wasn't bad for my account after all :D She's so much fun to play and I missed her during the time when she wasn't as good as my other electro characters.

Imo Keqing has always been pretty decent, not as an on field dps but a quick swap character. With dendro this playstyle has really improved her overall performance drastically. I hope Kusanali will have crazy dendro application, she might be a crazy good support for Keqing then!

Imo Keqing was below average but with really high investment, could still compete. Now she's more in-line with other dps in the game and she's a standard character

You don’t really need crazy Dendro application to get Keqing to spread the maximum amount of her electro attacks, so Kusanali wouldn’t be all that impactful

Keqing was my first 5*. I really enjoyed playing with her even though I didn't know anything about the mechanics and rotations. But her playstyle was so fun and her burst just gave me goosebumps! She's the 5* that I have with the most contellations, which are five. I'm really happy with this dendro upgrade as she got the recognition she deserved from the beginning. 💜💜💜

She was my first in Genshin. Got her on my first 10 pulls in Noelle banner. I used to thought she was Goddess. Even after I watch all YT videos slandering her, I kept her near both in my team and in my heart. It is truly a delight seeing my first getting all the attention that has been long overdue

4pc TF is so fun. Really emphasises the flashy playstyle of zooming everywhere and slashing everything in your path. Aggravate keqing might be the most fun dendro team.

Content just gets better and better!! There is one topic no one has covered that I think would benefit the community. Most of us have weapons from lost 50/50 or the Standard banner. Seeing some of them covered could help some of us use the weapons we have AND dust off an unused character!

I'm frankly amazed none of the 3 dendros we have right now can heal. Dendro's icon is literally a heart and story-wise the whole theme of the element seems to revolve around healing and nurturing life. If Kusanali can't heal I'm calling the manager.

@@cozysundew33 doesnt seem that way. from the archon quest her role looks like off-field support. i assume her skill would be dendro aura like kuki's E that ticks around the on-field character. her Q might be something like mona's Q or qiqi's Q that marks the enemy around the on-field character and apply some sort of effect on them. seems more fitting as nilou's support. that kind of skill set gonna shoot her value up through the roof like zhongli's shield.

@@cozysundew33 TBF archons excel on one aspect: Venti for CC, Zhongli for Shielding, Raiden for Battery and we know that Dendro's motive is EM so there's a really big chance that she will be an EM buffer but seeing her also as a healer wouldn't be that shocking as how she helped...someone with Eleazar.

Yeah, if Kusanali has good application, a healing ability, and doesn't scale with attack stat she will be seriously OP in aggravate teams with the new craftable catalyst weapon. I know this is a lot of speculation but I've convinced myself and I can't wait!

I finally got Keqing today and I’m actually surprised how much damage she does with EM sands and Iron Sting when triggering aggravate or hyperbloom. She’s only level 60 with level 12 artifacts and level 4 talents and I’m doing 19k damage. That’s a lot for me. It’s so satisfying

Keqing is my second oldest 5-star, second to 90, and I continue to farm for the best artifacts. I immediately saw the value of Dendro Traveler and Keqing right away. Although I needed to farm to get Deepwood Memories and Gilded Dreams to get Dendro Traveler up to speed, Keqing was already "good to go".

This is the best chance to finally put Sara and Keqing to use. Seems like a waste to not use Yae or Fischl but atleast they have uses in other teams already. Man i love Saras design so much but even with dendro she feels like wasted potential. but i build a quicken team with her anyway. If she is even a little more useful than usal its good enough for me, even if shes not optimal.

one important thing, while yae miko or beidou work well, fischl is pretty much carrying this teamcomp single-handedly, keqing is basically just a driver here for fischls A4 and C6

I'm running Keqing with Sara, Collei and Kazuha. Collei is indeed the better choice for Keqing as her cooldowns line up better and she doesn't require anywhere near as much ER as Traveler. Fischl would require me to use a lot of normal attacks but I'd rather quick swap and rotate skills/bursts.

You are by far one of my favorite content creators on KZfaq. It’s something I have wanted to do for a very long time (have pretty much everything I need), but keep finding reasons not to start. There are a lot of content creators out there who say to find the ones you like most, whose content is similar to what you want to do and message them for advise. I would love to pick your brain if you would be ok with that. Back to this guide. Keqing has been a staple for me in my party and since Sumeru was released she hasn’t left it. Quicken is my favorite reaction and my team consists of Keqing, Fischl, DMC, and Kaz (sometimes Zhongli). I TEAR through enemies. I was looking for a good Keqing guide as I am not always 100% I’m building my characters correctly lol, and you and Zy0x, and Zajeff are my go-to’s. Thank you for always providing the best content. for me TF is a must because i completely remove the stamina issue. now we can use E > Q > E > N2/3 > E > E which is super fun and more electro application. Especially if you play aggravate with Fischl where our Kequeen could trigger her massive A4 passive pretty fast.

Try with N2C instead N1C for Aggravate ICD Proc. And it will be more helpful when using TF4pcs on Keqing.

Awesome showcase. As for throwing the enemy around, I enjoy hitting them and then using E to get to them and keep hitting. She is nice in open world too, and can teleport to some difficult places to reach. Dendro makes Keqing shine and I love it

Keqing is a character I’ve wanted for a very long time. When I got her, words can’t describe the happiness I felt. But I always had a hard time putting in comps that make her shine. She always fell short compared to my other five stars. I’m happy that she now becoming a more viable character in abyss.

Been useing a team similar to this for a couple weeks now and something that I think is worth mentioning is that dendro traveler needs quite a bit of ER to get their burst back quickly, would recomend around 200 or more if you can E: great video btw! Gave me a lot to consider for polishing up me team

I really like running kokomi with Keqing, collei and fischl! Kokomi can create bloom with dendro and then applying electro can create hyperbloom which is really fun imo :)

Great video, as a Keqing main, I think 3.0 has been amazing but it's worth noting that TF got buffed this patch to work with the new dendro reactions. Before 3.0, I was running 2 pc TF and 2pc Shim/Glad but the buff to TF makes it the most desirable imho.

Aggravate TF Keqing is easily the most fun character imo. She was already my favorite to play back then but she just couldn't compete in abyss. It's nice to dust her off since like ~1.6.

I've been playing keqing aggravate team all time since the patch came out. Its really fun to play, not easy, im not really used to low or no heal. With jean instead of sucrose or venti i lost too much damage for 36 stars in abyss, i did it with venti.

She was my first standard 5* and I mained her back then. I'm SO glad to see her becoming even more viable! Right now she goes with Fischl, dendro Lumine and Zhongli, but I'm waiting for Kusanali to hopefully be an even better off-field dendro applicator~

I love how Sayu is now being considered in abyss. She's helped me a lot in my early game abyss runs before I had good 5 stars to use.

I've used Sayu a lot in Abyss. The fact that she can hold VV, Wolf's Gravestone, and is a healer makes her a good character.

I'm a Keqing main and I've personally loved her playstyle once I got her during Keqing banner, so it's nice that she's finally getting a boost in terms of damage because of dendro reactions! I've also been running 4 Thundering Fury before 3.0 since I ran her in an electrocharged team and now that dendro has been added to the game it finally sees its full synergy with Keqing! TF set also opens up some more attack strings for Keqing. You could do EQE N1C * 2 EN1C instead of the usual charge attack spam after EQE and from experience, it feels really satisfying to pull off lol

I use EM build Kuki for comfortable gameplay. Fits nicely with Keqing, Collei, and Kazuha. Rotation is smooth. I just wish I have C2 Kazuha for the EM buff. 😅

As with many of the other comments here, Keqing is my first 5* unit. I liked her before, but the Dendro reactions make Keqing's rapid hit gameplay feel soooo much more satisfying. I'm still hunting for Thundering Fury pieces for her. I wish I had Jean for that VV/healer consolidation with the Aggravate team. I suppose I could try to build my Sayu. In the mean time, I have in fact been pairing her with Shinobu and Xingqiu for Hyperbloom. I don't know if I like Collei or DMC for the Dendro slot more.

Sevy! Wonderful job here as always. I'd like to know your honest opinion. Which Dendro reaction do you consider as the best/most useful? Should I consider this video as the answer? Or should I expect future videos to know it!? I'm actually building a team around Keqing but I'm not sure whether to put a second electro character or go to a Hyperbloom team? Your advice would be great!

Thank you! I personally like hyperbloom and aggravate so far because of the comps we have now, but that could always change with new characters. I think keqing definitely works better in aggravate teams, so a second electro would be my pick. :)

Thundering Fury is the most interesting 4pc set in the game, in terms of gameplay. I will fight for this.

I think it's important to point out that it is basically required to have at least a few em substats, or at last passive em buffs or em sharing. I tried running her on nt ild build which had 0 em and the dmg difference between regular attacks and aggravate was miniscule. I redid her build with the strong box and she got 100 em and it sent my aggravate damage through the roof. Even a small amount of em is good, but you absolutely neeeeeeeeed it so if you minmaxed her out of it before dendros release, you will need to adjust your build, unfortunately. Or really rely on external sources, which can be suboptimal.

for keqing's attack I just use keqing's normal attack and then hold when she jumps into the air and dissapears

When you were talking about weapons you forgot to mention iron sting! she can utilise its passive and the em substat is good with aggravate, if i remember correctly it can compete with black sword

Imagine having a Keqing!! Couldn't be me :) Thanks for this video! I've always been an Electro main so this new era in my dream come true. I'll build this wonderful DISTINGUISHED lady the very minute I "lose" a 50/50 to her. I already switched my Fischl from a bad TF build to a cracked GD one. So I guess I'll quietly work on a better TF set for when the day comes.

My jaw hit the floor when I saw that not only is she able to be pretty good now but also the team composition is completely solid. I think I can actually do this except replace Jean with Sayu but other then that, I think I have everything else for Keqing to make her work. Plus now I have someone to give Kazuha's canon sword to and it is good on Keqing, meaning now at long last, Keqing is FINALLY fun to use like her Honkai counterpart. Granted we had to wait a few more years then wait for a new element to pop off in order for her to be good now but better late than never. Overall a very impressive guide as per usual but are usual but now every time I'm gonna imagine you saying DMC I'm gonna keep thinking Dante from the devil may cry series is gonna be the next ccross over character lol! Seriously nice job Sevy!
