In in Alaska, everybody has protection against bears and etc.

Just like grizzly bears and cougars and anything else in the woods make noise let your presence be known and usually they will avoid you I always wore a bell on my shoe so that they could hear it and flee before I surprise them but I also backed up with a 357 Magnum just to be on the safe side and I use Buffalo bore ammunition!

I don’t know if I were in Alaska. I don’t think that I would be biking through the woods. I mean, I may take a drive in a car down the road like a paved road. But I don’t think I would be hiking, walking, or on a bicycle Anywhere that is not a major city. Just the threat of a bear like a grizzly bear is reality. My husband lived in Fairbanks for a couple years and he said they were bears all over the place on the outer edges of town. Why in the world did you be riding a bicycle through the woods in Alaska? I wouldn’t even do that in some of the upper states.

I mean that these things I have heard stories that they have brutalized and killed horses in horrendous ways. And the same thing was the horses were not eaten in anyway they were just brutally killed and left like that. I don’t understand what those creatures are. I don’t understand any of it.
