RIP Jimmie’s fishies! 😓❤️ I lost my first fish a while ago too Jimmie, got 2 fish for the first fish in my tank, should have put them in a small quarantine tank but I thought I could get away with it coz they were the first and gonna be the only 2 fish, unfortunately one either wasn’t eating or I think might have had a parasite, passed away after a week or so, I treated the other fish for worms/flukes, now my lil fish is doing well and has been for a few months, was very sad when I lost that fish but was a good learning experience and reminder that q tanks are super important, especially for marine tanks 🍻👊🥰

I thought this was a great video, and I love seeing you guys step up to compete with BRS I love BRS, but competition is good! Anyway, I did think the skit at the beginning went on a bit long - the roleplay about 1/4 in was the best part of this content.

I had to use a mirror in the past to keep the aggression down and I had to move my female clownfish in my sump for a week too. I had to get a foxface to help with bubble algae and I noticed every since I got him there is no more aggression in my tank.

Those falco hawkfish definitely don’t play nice with wrasses, I had to trade mine in.

What about a much larger very peaceful fish? Someone who can be the alpha but doesn't really show aggression.... I'm thinking a big kole tang, or tomini tang? I'm new to the hobby as well, but was wondering if this would be a good option?

Is it possible for new fish to be aggressive towards each other? Let's say I bought 3 new fish, should I isolate them seperately?

Usually new fish will ignore eachother and give you a false sense of security and then the aggression starts later

FCK get rid of it! Trade him in at the store where you got him/her from or give him/her away. In the meantime, you might have to separate it in your sump or maybe have a fish cage you can put in your tank.
