@@NoNameAtAll2 No. Both roles are functioning how they are supposed to. They would have to specifically add an icon for a stoned player and have the doomsayer check if they got stoned.

@@NoNameAtAll2 Nah, its just a wierd interaction. The problem is that it is info you only get from the animation, so they should either hide the icon in the animation or save the doomsayer's guesses somewhere, like log or graveyard.

I remember that they referred to themselves in the third person at least once, but other than that I haven’t noticed any patterns.

​@@Tech_Marauder Mimyuu ALWAYS refers to themselves in the third, and is often evil/not town in Pipe vids kinda like Giles from TOS1. They wear a PM skin and i think no pet every game. Other than that idk what they do.

I think it's just Cleric and Crusader who cannot protect a revealed Mayor? Since BG redirects an attack on their target onto themselves instead of raising defense unlike the other TPs, I think BGs might be the Mayor's only saving grace. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

@@autumnOllie__ it might have been because of some enchanter happenings, but I do remember a game where a BG had a will that they were on a mayor, the mayor still died though even though they were "protected".

Trapper also redirects. Both trapper and bg can save regardless of strength but only on one attack. Also I think trickster redirects the same way but I'm not sure.

So, first, most abbreviations have already been established by the community back in ToS1 (since the game does not enforce Abbreviations on its own), and they very likely won't change. TK is Town Killing since those are the roles that Kill, not necessarily Attacking for it (such as Veteran or Jailor). Town Protect is to show that they specifically Protect, not always Defend (since Cleric puts Barrier / heals Poison, doesn't take the hit directly). It's only with the new additions (the Town Power category, then the Tavern Keeper rename of Escort role) that there are some current, albeit temporary, Abbreviation confusions. However, it's much more logical to change the new ones to fit with the rest than change what has remained established in the community by now. Currently, the best solution for this is what some people already started using, TPow and Tav in this case. Similar cases like this happened in the past, such as with ToS1, when the Coven expansion arrived, and how the Transporter role (now defunct in ToS2 and essentially replaced with Trickster) was initially abbreviated also with TP, before the abbreviation for it became Trans/Transp.

Not bullying in this case. Not just because of the extremely mild message, but also since it was an answer to that player wrongfully calling the others "idiots". It's one to be a beginner in a game / area (and hopefully be aware of it), but it's another thing to be both a beginner and immediately assuming you'd be right in random situations where there would be a high chance more experienced players would also participate. TL;DR: Don't think you're hot shit if you're really a beginner. Ofc considering the social nature of the game, calling people "idiots", depending on your role, can be a viable strat. Not in this situation, since his role was actually Town, but where relevant, you can even try to fake being a beginner / an inflamatory individual to try to either bait as veteran or antagonize if you're a Jester, with different degrees of results in each case.
