For anybody having trouble zeroing the rattler. I had very little trouble getting on target at 50 but at 100 my scope was making huge corrections per click. Zero out your values when you go to 100 yards from 50 and save. Then go back into reticle and re-enter whatever numbers you just zeroed out. For what ever reason your bullet impacts will stabilize and begin moving in smaller 1 inch or so increments like they should be. Don’t ask me why but I was told to do this by AGM customer service and it worked. Also do no not leave the reticle screen while you are zeroing. Do all of your sighting In adjustments from there and save when your finished! Also given this tip, if you are using 123 batteries in your scope they must be in the 1500 to 1600 mah rating. If not you can get some weird behaviors from the various functions of your scope including the shutting down on recoil. Hope this helps somebody

Hey I’m experiencing large jumps when trying to adjust left and right. I’m not quite following your explanation tho. Could I get some more help?!
@kingrider752 жыл бұрын
@@noahfranzen4756 sorry about the late response and you have probably figured it out by now but if you haven’t go to the zeroing screen and at 50 yards and get a good zero. Write down whatever numbers your up and down values are. Move out to 100 and put both of those numbers to 0 and save it. Put those same numbers back in and save once more and proceed to zeroing as normal. I have know idea why this is but I was told to do this by the customer service rep from AGM and it worked like a charm. No more 6 or 8 inch jumps. Also the guy told me to do my shooting from the zero screen. Not the Home Screen.

why not put a 2nd HotHands over your first group...line up reticle on aimpoint in your rest...then adjust reticle to the 2nd point of impact? Just get small HotHands..fold in half and staple with the ends together...reduces footprint. Poor mans Auto-Zero.

Dont understand thought u just move recticles to the impact like John Doe said are you guys talking about the saving the Profile to be zero on all Recticles? thanks BJ Beagles
@Riqrob2 жыл бұрын
Once you find the correct x-y to hit the target on one recticle, you transfer that same x-y co-odinates to the others, unless you want to save another recticle for another rifle zero or another ammo config. I shoot subsonic and save one recitcle for that ammo's zero which is different from my regular ammo. Hope that helps

They should have put on “how to shoot zero target and how to use X/Y” on book??!!! When I used to zero on Trijicon, nothing to said on book too. I figured it out myself after 40 shots of wasted bullets, up and down are upside down and left to right are opposite. Weird

Set up a target u can see if it's a bolt gin line up the barrel with bolt out lock the rifle down on stock and shoot at point of aim with rifle lock down on stock put a point impact target over impact move your cross hairs to the impact from first point aim and Dave it then shoot there is your zero and write the numbers down and set the x and y the same all reticles so u can switch and be on zero

Im having some troubles with my rattler scope. There seems to be two methods of recording videos and pics. 1. the scope directly saves them to internal memory. 2. You can login into the wifi hotspot and view in realtime what scope sees. When doing so, you can record video and take photo that is saved to tvision app. My issue is with method one. How do i review these photos and video. Can i only see internally recorded pics/video when scope is directly to my computer? I see no way to access internal memory files on the tvision app! Method 2 during my testing, i was able to save a picture and video. The jepeg saves correctly into my photos app on my iphone 13. But any time i attempt to save a video, it appears like it is saving, but no video is saved to the photos app. Any ideas how to fix this? Third issues. When/how are you suppose to use the reticle vs trajectory? I believe the reticle function is what i use to zero the scope. But i have no idea how or when i should use the trajectory function It would like to have my zero at 23m, 50m, 75m, 100m, and 150m 1. whenever i select one of the 5 distances. It reverts my desired reticle to option 1 2. When using reticle my crosshairs is directly centered in the display, but when using trajectory, the crosshairs is now in the upper right quadrant on my display unless i push the zoom button.

So confused. Do you go to boresighting or trajectory correction? Mine won’t save anything. And I can’t adjust up.
@thebugkiller90363 жыл бұрын
Boresight 1 through 5 are the choices you have to set up the rifle ... you would think they would give clear instructions to set these up ... the X is left or right ... the Y is up and down ... great scope but the manual is terrible !!!
@jamesrevell64753 жыл бұрын
Glad to know I'm not the only person confused. What is the difference between bore sighting and trajectory correction? Mine wont save anything either. I had been shopping for my first thermal for over a year. I've watched over 100 videos and finally settled on the Rattler. Every other brand or model I considered had a simple shot zeroing system but this seems unnecessarily complicated. I couldn't have been more wrong with this purchase. None of the reviews I watched covered the zero topic for the Rattler. I regret buying it for that single reason and the fact that it wont save any settings is salt in the wound.
@cody5559033 жыл бұрын
Boresighting is how you zero it. The trajectory thing is for if you want to set hold-over/aiming points on the bottom reticle of the crosshair for shooting at 200/300/400 yards etc
@randomidiot81423 жыл бұрын
Bore sighting is just to get you on paper. I've got a few that hit inches off of where the bore says it will at 25 yards. As far as XY, seems like some scopes don't follow the 'move impact in relation to cross hair' practice, and it's actually adjusting the cross hair in relation to screen position. So instead of hitting low and adjusting impact up, it was move crosshair down to bullet hole. Ymmv, sometimes it helps to take notes or get a second shooter/person to help it makes sense.

@@jamesrevell6475 same here, i got my rattler friday in the mail, the batteries it came with are 3.1volts on a voltmeter, scope says battery low powering down. I bought a 10 pack of streamlight cr123s and they all read 3.1volts, scope says battery voltages dont match- powerimg down.......i plug in an external battery and it comes on.......try to zero it and it will not save anything or make the adjustments . I really regret this purchase, i hope i can get my money back... the same unit in the UK has a different name brand and is much cheaper.....hell they can get a 35-640 model for what i paid for the 25-256. Apparently AGM buys these units from HIK VISION in china re-brands them....ill be going with a bering optics or a pulsar, my first thermal was a ATN THOR LT, and it had a better picture and was much less complicated

Hey Boss....I got a Thermal TS35 and it works pretty well. I still don't have it sighted in, got it close but still 1" low - 1" to the right. I'll get there sooner or later. And if so what is the Part number ? 2) What type of Thermal Monocular do you suggest (in order save Battery Power on the Scope) Any help will be greatly appreciated

Round 2 for me today. I shot 5 times, they’re in same spots. Trajectory couldn’t move sight for me. What I did is go to Reticle, and found out that’s X and Y are wrong. Idk why AGM did that to us?? No wonder they had too many crybabies called their service. I never call anyone for help, I figured it out myself. Anyway, I changed those X and Y to zero 0. I shot it, it’s not in same old 5 other spots anymore, it hit on target board, it’s not prefect bullseye yet. Take a pic of it from your phone, and change a little. Although they said left to left, right to right, and up to up and down to down were all wrong. Left button is to sight right , right button is to left sight, up button is to down sight and down button is to go sight up. Now you’ll get perfect bullseye 🎯 on Reticle 1 is at 30 meters and saved that. Try reticle 2 at 50 meters to get perfect bullseyes 🎯 and saved that. Try reticle 3 at 100 meters to get perfect target 🎯 and saved that. Repeat again on reticle 4 and 5 for farther more if you want to. I still don’t get it on Trajectory correction, ignore that. Enjoy 😉 👍🏻

Trajectory only works in reticle one.
@anthonyrichard461 Жыл бұрын
I think the reticle menu adjustments are for bore sighting which would be the opposite of a scope sighting in. Right would be right for a scope adjustment where as bore sight backwards.

That's because the scope is being sighted in in the bore site mode which is opposite of how a regular scope would be set up, Left is right and up is down. The owners manual is clear as mud.
