My poor Anni-Frid... Her face!!🥺🥺 Less that a month after that Benny dumpt her, and a month afar that the born of the Bennys baby this.... Mona 😤... She (Frida) is there, being kind, charming, funny and lovely as always. I ADMIRED HER SO MUCH!! What a strong human being 💕my queen 👑 ✨ 💕 😍

Frida was always much better at english but Agnetha got better later in the 80s i love both the womans talking voices . so warm and lovely .

Swedish language is not her mother tongue. Her mother is Norwegian and her father is German.

@@alenakutik1310 Of course Swedish is her mother tongue. Frida was merely born in Norway and moved to Sweden immediately when she was little. She speaks Swedish and English and learned a little German in school, that's it.

The endearing thing about ABBA, was that even at the height of their popularity, they always appeared underwhelmed with themselves in interviews. They had an enchanting humility about them. They were and still are legendary. 🙂❤👍🌷🌺🍀🌾🌸💃💃🕺🕺

It's a bit strange but when they first appeared on Eurovision back in 1974 I fancied Anni-Frid Lyngstad. I wasn't so much into blondes at that stage of my life. Subsequently, my affections shifted exclusively towards Agnetha and have stayed there ever since.

This is the first interview I’ve watched of these two girls, where you can actually see the hurt and pain on Frida’s face. Her eyes say it all. … That’s a woman who is heartbroken ! Especially when the interviewer asked, are they happy or sad songs and are they true to life?

I'm a proper fan girl for Agnetha,her voice of COURSE...but her grace her beauty her humble attitude..the list is endless. Well now the follow-up is finally coming. Too bad they didn’t trooper on with an ABBA album in 1987 after all the solo stuff and Chess. After that a break and another great Abba album in 91 followed by albums in 95, 99, 04, 10, 14, 18 and voyage in 2021. So we missed out on eight great albums with classics we never will hear because they never were made.

In this interview and others with ABBA, I can sense how hard they work everyday in the studio to perfect their songs. They are no "pop idol". They are hard working musical artists perfecting their craft for our enjoyment and I for one enjoyed them for 40 years. When the host asked "the songs.... are they sad or are they very happy........and some autobiographic?", you can feel the sadness with both ladies. Benny had just divoiced Frida and remarried in that same year 1981.

@@edie8931 Bjorn and Benny were both having their affairs before their divoice. They did not treat the ladies right. Angetha and Frida while sad and disappointed, were very gracious about it. They are my angels.

THE MOST OBVIOUS RESULT OF THE TWO DIVORCES WAS THE SPLIT OF ABBA, AGNETHA AND FRIDA WERE DIVORCED BUT FRIDA WAS STRONG HANDLED THE DIVORCE WHEN AGNETHA WASN'T WHICH LED HER TO DEPRESSION AND GRADUALLY ABANDONING HER CAREER IN 1988-2004 SHE COULDN'T BE HERSELF AGAIN AND BEING ABLE TO SING IN FRONT OF PUBLIC AGAIN, FOR 5 YEARS COULD STAND LISTEN TO MUSIC NOT EVEN HERSHELF,FORTUNETLY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS SHE MADE SOME STEPS TO LIFE BUT SHE IS STILL AFRAID OF PUBLIC!!!GOD BLESS YOU CHIQUITITA AGNETHA!!!

I wish and feel they should have continued on together as it was truly they that everyone for the most part came to see and hear. Benny and Bjorn supplied great lyrics and music the girls looks and voices are what people wanted in my opinion.

It's odd that Frida says Bjorn & Benny didn't have more than 9 songs when there was a 10th song, "Should I Laugh Or Cry", not included on the album but released as the B-side to "One Of Us". Agnetha hinting at a solo album was clearly a slip of the tongue. Frida looks startled when Agnetha says "sol..." at 03:39. Plans for Frida's "Something's Going On" album must have been in the works when this interview was filmed because she started recording mid February 1982.

I still find it strange when people from two non-English speaking countries talk to each other in English, even though people have obviously been doing it for a long time. I'm English myself.

English is a global language.In the Netherlands as in Sweden as well, many people speak it, so the translator can be spared.

It's great but it's made us lazy, in England. I think the one good thing about our language is that nouns aren't feminine or masculine. They're just "the". That's got to be easy for people learning English. I could never remember whether something was "la" or "le" in French, which made me nervous trying to speak it. I suppose it's America's influence that English, to a degree, is a global language. I'm ashamed of not being able to speak a foreign language.

i have the feeling they are not so happy anymore this was a good nice intervieuw they seem verry nice. friendly but i dont no some sadness hanging around them. the divorces brr. not so manny times later they where not together anymore. but greet careers lots of money but happy hard to say. mice but also sad intervieuw.

...+развод с Бенни((( Судьба порой такие кульбиты выделывает с людьми))). Бенни и Фрида прожили вместе больше 12ти лет, из которых только чуть больше трёх состояли в законном браке. Причём, оформили они свои отношения буквально за 4 месяца до того, как Агнета с детками ушла от Бьёрна... За эти почти 3 года были записаны 2 самых, как по мне, зрелых и максимально содержательных по лирике и музыке альбома, в которых каждая песня - нетленный шедевр. Особенно много таких hidden gems в "The Visitors". Смотрю и слушаю девчонок, а у самого слёзы в 3 ручья и мурашки по всему телу... Осталось чуть меньше года до того, как они тормознулись на 3 с лишним десятилетия. Люблю их с раннего детства вот уже больше 40 лет и буду любить до последнего своего вздоха!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@alexperm74 Я так понял, что ситуация наподобие той, которая была в сериале "БОГАТЫЕ тоже плачут". По воспоминаниям Ани-Фриды, у нее начались проблемы со сном - каждую ночь страшные кошмары снились. Тут это по ее внешнему виду видно в конце существования группы. Поэтому она с радостью ушла, когда она распалась.

Mies who is taking the interview is an icon in the Netherlands but this was a terrible interview. She had absolutely no knowledge about ABBA or their music. Such a small interview and she cannot come up with any good questions.
