This is the most beautiful piano version of this song. Whenever I'm ready to pray the Holy Rosary and whatever Mysteries of the rosary I can think of, it puts me in a state of mediation and prayer. As a Catholic Christian, I consider the Blessed Virgin Mary my spiritual mother from Heaven.

First of all, the Holy Virgin Mary is divine. I'll thank you to have the least bit of respect for the woman through whom God came to the world by at least capitalising her name. She is divine not in that she is on the same level of divinity of God, but divine in that she has become heavenly through the glorious gift of salvation given us by God. Secondly, asking someone to pray for you is not idolatrous. Idolatry is the WORSHIP, emphasis on WORSHIP of something above God, or equalising something with Him. A request for prayer or offering veneration to something or someone is far from idolatrous. Now, to worship the Most Holy Mother of God or a Blessed Saint of the Church would be idolatrous and a grave sin; this is not what we do in the Holy Orthodox Faith.

It is very wrong to say that she is divine as it is CONTRARY to doctrine. In fact, to say that she is divine, and, consequently, worshipped is one of the LIES which protestants constantly use in denigrating the Theotokos. Rather, she is the 'most perfect creature' that God has created. And because of her highly important role in the work of salvation and sanctification of souls, not to mention being the holy Mother of God, she is not worshipped, but rather accorded the homage befitting of her honour and dignity (HYPERDULIA).

Speaking for myself, as an Orthodox Christian, I believe that Hillsong and contemporary Christian songs (mostly used in the false Evangelical confession than anywhere else) have been tainted by worldly influence. I should know, as I spent many years of my youth being brought and later dragged every Sunday to a modernist Evangelical Protestant "church". The places deemed "mega-churches", a miserable substitute for the cathedrals of the True Church, were often glorified stadiums. They were also where I would be marooned amid arms in the air, fog machines, terrible reck and roll-esque music that was often poorly sung, electric guitars, and a man who dared to go about calling himself a pastor wearing khakis a tee shirt and a pair of flip-flops. I thank God I was able to do some research and eventually discover the True Church.

But we shouldn't forget that Jesus looks at our hearts... wether it's a modern building with fog machines and a casual dressed preacher or an old church building with a priest in a robe or some poor people sitting in a tin hut in a slum... Jesus is there with loving, sad and piercing glance, asking "Do you love me?"
