we are jobless and headless because of fewer grey cells..People here are blogging without knowing facts...even if someone works in a corporate sector or government body...the employees are insured and the premium is paid by the Organisation...don't understand why people fail to utilize their brains in a sensitive topic..The Army in an official press note has already released the amount and also clarified some portion will be disbursed after background verification this is as per insurance policy and its also the same for civilians..This Govt has done a lot for the defense forces by implementing OROP which was pending for 40 years and everyone in this country is aware of it..The long-standing demand of defense forces for a war memorial was also fulfilled by this Govt...so they are just following a fool who does not scratch his own brain ..Few years back the same fool went to HAL and tried hard to instigate the HAL employees for mass strike..Now he has visited railway employees for the same...The thought process is to create chaos and anarchy and downgrade economic growth.

The money they received is not government compensation but it's insurance.

Rahul Gandhi told two lies in the Parliament regarding Agniveer: First, he mentioned the word Shaheed.. He does not have the basic knowledge that the word Shaheed is not used in the Indian Armed forces, instead "to give Supreme Sacrifice (Veergati)" is used. The second lie was about giving compensation to Agniveer after his Supreme Sacrifice. It is the misfortune of the country that the level of Leader Opposition (LOP) has fallen so low in modern India, in the era of Google, when correct information is available in a second. No wonder with such poor caliber, Rahul Gandhi was declared unfit for LOP by people of India in the 2 previous general elections by dumping his Congress party with less than 10% mandatory LS seats. Ukraine War has completely changed modern warfare to no-contact or low contact war. Loitering munition, armed drones, swarm drones, UAVs & GPS system to guide artillery fire, missile, anti-missile systems, mechanized infantry for rapid & secure occupation of territory has added new dimensions. Mechanized infantry & tanks now also needs protection against enemy's anti-tank missiles. Probability of protracted war has highlighted importance of domestic manufacture & of keeping large inventory. There is need for more high tech weapons. GPS guided armed drones are replacing manned aircraft bombings. Soon robots & AI will enter to fight the war. Moreover, concept of joint tri-service Theater Command calls for same personnel handling inventory meant for common use of three services. Modern hardware needs to be rapidly inducted by India for the changed war scenario. Agniveer scheme is consistent with modern warfare. More over retaining 25% of Agniveers in regular service, shifting others to paramilitary forces & armed police and rest discharged with Rs 20-25 lakh compensation to find suitable jobs is right approach. China is now inducting engineering students in its armed forces & Chinese military is based on stipend getting compulsory conscription services for soldiers. China has also formed a Cyber Space Command and the major powers of the world are creating such commands where IT engineers are required.

How can you include here the insurance given for death by the insurance company for which the premium was paid by the person who died?
