An agnostic critic questions Muslim on slavery . This video gives people an insight as to the islamic attitude on the institution of slavery.

Jawayriyya was freed then married. She wasn't initially with the Prophet SAW, she was with Thabit ibn Qays al-Ansari. But when she sought to buy her freedom from Thabit, the prophet, instead of allowing her to pay, paid her ransom for her, and then married her. With her consent.

anon ymous seek correct knowledge learn the misconception that non Muslims have and learn the response of the Islamic scholars. make your intention go head and speak about things that you know of always start with tawheed before clarifying anything

This is My Name mashaAllah those two books are must if you want to do dawah with basic knowledge of the Deen , I remember every year I just to review with my teacher and I always pick something up ....inshaAllah after kitab Al tawheed go to the nuffiers of Islam things that invalid person Islam by Shaykh salih Al fawzan

yeah it is haha who dis ? and is ay never because religion just dont make no sense to me, ive watched loads of debates also outside of speakers corner from the top tier thiests and athiests from a unbiased perspective evan though i naturally lean to the athiest side anyway and religion just makes absolutely no logical sense to me

Without the abolishment of slavery by the British, you would still have slaves in muslim countries. There were slaves less than 50 years ago in the Arab Gulf countries and most were freed by the British when they came. Every Muslim knew that their religion prohibited but culture and tradition came first to them.
