I just bought some Crossbow and will be spraying a area I just cleared of larger trees. I was going to spray the smaller brush and saplings. Some are near a row of young tubed Chestnut trees. Will any of this move through the ground ? How close would you say I could get to the trees with out killing them ? You fellas have some great videos. Thanks for any advice you can give.

used 24D for the first time and it worked well. My question is after the weeds are dead do you need to seed for grass or will the grass grow back and do I need to remove the weeds to help grass grow ? thanks for the help.

It shouldn’t kill grass unless it’s buffalo

My husband sprayed Spectracide on our lawn for clover. I tried to cover my 2' high raised beds as best as I could with old sheets. Small yard with board on board privacy fence, low to no wind, temps around low to mid 70's, sprayed at 11 am. Spectracide hooks to garden hose and while I discreetly watched, it was not a mist but more like a hosing down. Could you give an opinion on whether my vegetables are safe to consume and is this really any different than farmers who grow vegetables conventionally? Do farmers spray 2,4--d and diacamba directly on vegetables? I would appreciate your thoughts.

🙋🏻♂️So if evening temperatures are 89deg with slight humidity , would it be ok to spray..❓ It’s really hard to get right ratio of 2,4D Hy-Yield to water since those instructions on container are so confusing…… even to brown container may have oz’s on side, you cannot see when a certain amount has been reached. So, for 1 gal sprayers use _❓❓__oz , to kill poison ivy’s, sumacs, wisteria ( which always finds your electrical transformers, climbing up guy wires ) 8-1-2022 🤙

A plant's metabolism stops when there is no sunlight for photosynthesis, so they shutdown at night and won't take in herbicide. Didn't know about the volatility, thank you.

EPA says "2,4-D generally has moderate to mammals." We are mammals. How is this not moderately dangerous?

Yeah, do lawn care as they won't care they will make you spray anyways. That's professionally but this good advice.

F: So will hand weeding, tilling, and overseeding. That is nature. Always rejuvenating itself. Herbicides are an effective and cost effective way of reducing crop losses from weed competition. Uncontrolled weeds can significantly reduce farm income, and increase prices of commodities. Any consumers asking for more expensive food? Eh?
