I’m disappointed the show didn’t seem to cover how the assassination attempts she was once believed to have survived. A formidable woman in every sense of the world.

The producers probably didn't have enough time or budget to film those scenes. I know because I graduated from film school and the reason why it's hard to get in the entertainment industry is because they are too busy and they have to be careful, very selective, and quick about casting actresses; and sometimes they have a hard time finding the right cast members that will follow through and be able to perform without fucking up so much, and if you can remember the script.

I liked this biography about Nero. And her mother was the main cause of his fall into madness when he came to power. She made him believe that to gain a foothold in power he had to be a murderer, that certain sacrifices had to be made, and Seneca hardly served the emperor as consolation.

@@Ceibhfhionn LoL she served more like a regent making decisions for Nero and when she found he overruled some of her decisions she is believed to have plotted to overthrow and assassinate him. So he "gave her mercy" by the traditional Roman way of assassination.

@@Ceibhfhionn the femi-nazi politics are nothing to do here. She was a mother who gave to his son terribles advices, she was the main part of Nero's madness, bc her influence was not good Nero didn't take good decisions for his people being her mother alive. The facts speak for themselves

Beautiful video! Nevertheless, i'm sad because this show is really inacurate! I prefer the real story of Nero. And a serie based on it maybe a thousand times better.

Agripina the minor to distinguish her from her mother Agripina the eldest; was an abusive and manipulative mother of her son Nero. She poisoned her uncle- husband Claudio to obtain the title of Imperator for her son; but keep the two biological son (Británicos) and daughter (Octavia) of Imperator Claudio with Empresses Mesalina alive. She manage to marry Octavia with Nero who hated her and before marrying Popes Sabina, he ordered to decapitate her. Británicus was protected by Agripina as an ace up in her sleeve; if Nero try to rule by himself. In this case, she will accuse Nero to be an impostor to the praetorians. Nero knowing her Mather intentions, ; killed Britanicus. Two times Nero try to get ride off from her mother; trying to sunk her boat and when this attempted failed; he sent a pretorian to kill her by the sword. Agripina with the intention of keeping power over Nero; committed l urge with him. She was an abomination. Read: Memories of Agripina by French author Pierre Grimal (1992).

I really wish a new series about Nero's teen idle. This version is such a lie and the real history is a thousand times better. But i think the editor did a great job.
