Solution System:
- Empty the solution tank.
- To flush out the solution line do perform the following:
- (First Rinse) Fill the solution tank with 500ml of water.
- Rinse by shaking the unit thoroughly
- unscrew the tank cap whilst emptying the solution tank
- (Second Rinse) Fill the solution tank with 500ml of water.
- Rinse by shaking the unit thoroughly
- Whilst emptying the solution tank unscrew the tank cap.
- Fill the solution tank with 500ml of water again.
- Start fogging to clear the solution line
- While emptying the solution tank unscrew the tank cap
If Fogging Is Not Possible:
- Unscrew the fog solution socket and dosage nozzle so that the water can flow through the solution line into a container.
- Start the unit to flush water out from the solution line.
- Solution line should always be flushed out after each application.
- Remaining water can then be emptied out from the opening at the bottom of the solution tank.
Exterior Maintenance:
- Clean any dirt on the exterior of the unit.
- Remove the diaphragm out from the air intake valve, and clean the housing
- Constant check on the diaphragm membrane during regular maintenance will prolong the lifespan of the equipment.
- Check for any signs of wear, tear or damage on the diaphragm. Replace the diaphragm if needed or else clean the diaphragm, valve plate and spacer plate with a clean cloth and cleaning agent.
- Ensure that the spacer and membrane are properly aligned and check that all the holes are covered before screwing it back.
- Assemble all parts back onto the unit.
- Clean mixing pipe and mixing chamber of the resonator.
- Unscrew the small vein.
- Remove combustion residues with pipe cleaning tool. Avoid damaging the atomiser whilst cleaning it.
- Clean the small vein with copper wire brush provided in the tool kit. Always ensure that the o-ring is present in the housing and not on the small vein.
- Remove any combustion residues in the resonator, fog solution socket and fog tube with toolkit provided.
- Unscrew the dosage nozzle and fog solution socket; then remove the fog tube.
- Clean the resonator; Clean the fog solution socket; Clean the dosage nozzle with needle; Clean the fog tube.
Whilst Preparing The Unit For Next Use
- Firstly tighten the fog solution socket screw by hand and join the solution dosage nozzle to the solution tube by connecting it with the hollow screw. Always ensure that the solution line piece is between the 2 copper gaskets.
- It is important to hold a second spanner against fog solution socket.
Cleaning Petrol Tank:
- If dirt is collected in the petrol tank, perform cleaning for the petrol tank; firstly ensuring the unit is cool.
- Empty the petrol tank.
- Rinse the petrol tank with petrol, always use petrol funnel with filter.
- Shake the unit to rinse the tank thoroughly.
- Tilt the entire unit with care and allow all dirt and petrol to flow out of the opening in the tank.
- Repeat the procedure if necessary.
