George, my family is from Agros. This video made me cry with all the memories I have from times past. By far it is my favorite of places in Cyprus. There are indeed very old houses where you were. It was quite dangerous going into that partially collapsed house. The restaurant mentioned at 3:40 was my grandfathers and it brought tears to my eyes seeing it again. He will forever live in my heart making the most amazing meals from that kitchen that was shared with the locals, tourists and political dignitaries, etc. I can hear his laugher and remember at rare times when he danced on the Varanda. ❤ The Meteora is what it was called. ❤

Hi George and Su thank you so very much for showing this Vlog the village does look really lovely and beautiful and the views are amazing too and you did me make a bit nervous when you stepped on to the platform well you are certainly very brave for walking on it I wouldn’t have done it and this Vlog has been fantastic also the sandwich looked delish

There is no way I would have walked on that platform which was supported by a rusty bit if steel and rotting old beam Brave man for giving it a go x

The upper galleries in old churches (I believe) were where the women had to go and the men occupied the ground floor for church services. Lovely village. x

Hi George i used to have a place in Oroklini many years ago sold it now but still feel so attached.. I’d like to see what the Palm Beach is like nowadays that used to be the go to back in the day..if you ever get the time… thanks for sharing..

Love the video and village. That platform: OMG - are you going for some “DareDevil” record? The platform was barely held up by a rotting piece of wood, and several times you even mentioned the word “collapsed” (which was a dead giveaway!) 🫣 Anyway ….. all’s well that ends well ! Phew!!
