I would volunteer for that, but only after a more indepth discussion about safety and proofs that I could return to my previous body w/o issues. AND that I had nothing special in my previous life to go back to in case its irreversible. AND I'd demand my compensation for being their test pig was that they would afterward give me a new body that was perfectly healthy, could live for another hundred years, and had lots of rizz.

I'm not an expert on coms. But I would expect that a message sender would keep their ah's and um's to a minimum. Any unecessary syllable might be received as information that would cause confusion.

I find the "only use it when we have enough evidence to convict without it" stuff suspect.

It would be nice though to put certainty behind a capital case before executing sentence.

@@robertstoneking7916 That can be said about any sentence, but it wouldn't necessarlily provide certainty. What if the convicted THINKS they killed the victim, but the victim was already dead? That's a pretty classic murder mystery trope.
