Excellent rendition of this song! Bossa Nova is now 60+ years old and there is no other music that to me sounds so uplifting, fresh, new, and exciting. I honestly believe in the power of Bossa Nova to calm, soothe, and heal the soul.

This is the first song composed in Brasilia, in Catetinho, the presidencial residence during the construction of the new capital. The clean water source that inspired the song can still be visited, as well as the Catetinho museum.

I like how the drums don't overwhelm but instead acts as a metronome to keep everyone in harmony and literally on the same note at the same time. Beautiful.

This is counterintuitive, but believe it or not, it is the job of the bass to keep everyone together rhythmically, playing ever so slightly ahead of the beat so it doesn't drag. The drummer provides accents and fills. Good observation that he manages not to overwhelm the others.

Dear Hung Hoang, maybe you are not familiar with this tradditional song as this is not jazz but bossa nova, that was created in Brazil in the 50´s. It is very nice to know you refers to it as a beautiful song....Enjoy!
