'Cast In Steel' CD signing at Platekompaniet Oslo City

8 жыл бұрынTo celebrate the release of a-ha’s 10th studio album, ‘Cast In Steel’, Universal Music Norge and Platekompaniet partnered to give a-ha fans an opportunity to meet the band and get autographs at an in-store event at the Platekompaniet store in Oslo City on September 8, 2015.

I grew up here in the United States and I've been a lifelong aha fan since hunting high and low. I absolutely love these guys and they're amazing musicians and I can't wait for their next studio album.

Никогда никому не завидовала и не хотела ничьих автографов. А тут - завидую... Людям, которые просто мимо проходят. Улыбаются, что-то говорят. А ведь это все останется с ними навсегда. Легендарные, замечательные, талантливые и многогранные A-ha.

Beautifully put together. Really captures the "lifers" - fans who've loved the band and their work since early days. Especially in 1:10 where the beat picks up and it shows a very long day for the band, signing numerous posters and memorabilia. But for the fans, it's a day of total joy. If you look carefully at 2:02, you'll see one guy actually brought in a "Bridges" vinyl from the super early days pre A-ha! WOW! and the band have a good chuckle over that. hehe

Great version!! I'm glad Paul gave more attention to this song, it's probably the most underrated song from the album. And this one is more '80s-ish than the original version. Really cool!

best of luck guys. Thanks for being there for us. I've been listening to guys since I was in grade school/junior high. it's like over 30 years. I lost track of you guys and it's awesome I find out your on KZfaq. I will look to purchase your music from Google App store. Seriously impressive since I got the impression you write your own music as well. I don't know any of the new artists on the radio anymore, since I guess I'm older now. If your ever in the San Francisco Bay Area, I will volunteer to chauffeur/show you guys around. Not that you'll ever take me up on this offer....but I hope you do :) I encourage it. There are many activities in our area, like Yosemite or Lake Tahoe that are fun and beautiful. it's so beautiful it's like looking in the mirror. hehe. I've always wanted to visit Norway and other Scandinavian countries but never got the chance. Honestly the language is very intimidating and when watching Norwegian shows it's tough to follow. Eh Lars Monsen is my other favorite Norweigan besides you guys. Keep up the good work. Thanks for being on here. Now older people have music we can listen to again...but I do find myself listening to yours 80's music because it does remind me of my youth. For me life was much simpler then. Thanks again :) Hope you guys make it to the USA again soon.

I was lucky✅ still a precious item. But the a-ha fever has faded a great deal since then. I’ve been following them since before the breakthrough. It’s probably inevitable that they grow tired of each other and end up doing this collaboration for the wrong reasons.

I suspect it to be the original version of the song, before Erik Ljunggren got involved in the production process. I like this one much more than the album version.
