Rona didn't know she was testing patience of man who was at his limit. It was so satisfying when she realized how much she fucked up. Makoto was not only flexing his power here but also his knowledge. When he mentioned Luto with name Sophia didn't know it was like saying "Oh, yeah, that guy that is your ultimate goal? We are often eating dinner together and are on first name basis"

Makoto was really cooking Sofia like a 5 star chef💀

I really like the look on Makoto's eyes this episode, he's just so serious, determined, unwavering and filled with calm bloodlust. I also like how condescending he is being, particularly with Sofia. The moment he mentions she has been charmed and that he'd clear it up for her free was so savage lol, I was not ready for it. It's funny how she never realized and had to have it pointed out by someone she wants to kill lol. I also like how Makoto dealt with Io and Rona, Io's lucky Makoto is kind enough to give him many warnings even though the difference in their power was clearly shown prior as the rose sign was destroyed by him. Rona also realizing she may have awakened a sleeping beast was amusing, she looked legitimately terrified of Makoto. I do wonder what this counter ability she has is.

Sofia and Lancer really think that they are final boss level or close to it 🤣🤣🤣 ha fools they are.

Only towards the end of the episode I realised that Makoto still has every single one of his restrictions on 😅

Just throwing it out there, I think Rona sensed the difference in emotion Makoto felt between Sofia and herself. He does not give a flying fuck about Sofia, she is a nuisance at best. Sofia hasn't actually done anything to harm or hinder Makoto. But he was very close to getting pissed with Rona, on a personal level. Not quite there yet, but edge of patience stuff. So Io - whom he actually seems to kinda like and respect - gets blasted into orbit.. for his own safety. Sofia, who is as a bug, gets used as a training exercise. All Rona gets is a 'don't'. "Yup, I'm outta here.."

Well at least Rona will think twice before messing around with him for now onward. It just took feeling his deadly aura/skills for her to realize

I defy you to watch the "You've been charmed" part without thinking "Emotional damage!" now. I loved Rona _finally_ getting a sense of exactly how dead she would be the moment Makoto stops being nice. She thought last time was his best when it was actually him minimally trained, off-balance, and just wanting to leave. The man facerolled Sofia and Lancer together on a bad day.

Dude wasn't entirely sure that he was Superman in a world of cardboard before now. Like, Makoto knows that he is powerful, but with Sofia managing to injure him in their first encounter and the way the Goddess can just pull him up throw him from place to place, he really underestimated his overall spot in the power scaling. When Sofia is like "I could topple nations," Makoto is like "either she's exaggerating or this world isn't as strong as I thought." He went into this confident that he was basically untouchable, but I don't think he realized just how far the gulf between him and everyone else was.

I don't even think this is all related to his students, but whenever the Godess is involved, he just snaps for real.

The crazy part is that he still using his rings suppressing most of his power.

What did i say last time? Makoto is cleaning up these fools and showing anyone else what happened when he stop holding back or isn't playing around with your ridiculous bs one of my favorite mc not perfect but reasonably great in growing stronger 👏 💪

Remind me Cid beating Iris and the War Goddess without losing a sweat 😂 only one fool left the stage when she had the opportunity to leave with her life intact with a huge ounce of fear inside of her

*Nah, him calling her out for falling for Tomoki's Charm was next level humiliating.* It WAS indeed weird that someone so boastful and demeaning like Sofia started suddenly praising Tomoki *right after he used his Charm Eye.* The signs were there from the start, but just like Sofia herself, we didn't notice it until Makoto pointed that out! 😅

Best episode of the serie so far and the anime I have the most enjoyment to watch among any other of the season.. This part 2 of season 2 is payoffs after payoffs after payoffs after payoffs all thanks to the huge build of the first part. This is the culmination and build up of all Makoto's anger and frustration that slowly but surely (shown multiple times) piled up with people constantly considering him naive, using him and betraying him. Bro does not give a f*k anymore, he's had enough seeing them flex in front of him thinking he's a naive tool, Playtime is over its his turn to flex. He's been holding back a lot for the sake of his people even Mio got angry for him before he did (which made me cry in the arena). Makoto had the patience of an angel, but all those people the greedy hyumans, Sofia, Rona had to fck around too much and now they find out. Tsukimichi has been delicious this season.

Not gonna lie, Makoto just standing there in his mana armor reminds me of Madara facing off against the ninja alliance.

I like to think that the only reason the Mana suit looks so goofy is because Makoto just hasn't bothered refining his technique further. He got it to work, saw how powerful it was, and just stopped. Why develop a jackhammer when a pick is all you need? If he bothered to put in the effort to refine his mana further I bet he could make it as solid as, well something pretty darn solid, and maybe even control the shape to be more defined. He's out here beating fools with the Alpha V.1 version and it's horribly inefficient, un-polished, and broken to hell and back. Imagine the Beta version, ain't no-one coming back from that.

Did anyone else notice that Makoto never took off his rings? Check at 02:09 and 03:07 (of the episode itself). You can see clearly that he's still wearing them. It was that one sided and he wasn't even at full power. 🤣 My respect for Rona definitely grew this episode. Unlike Sophia, who won't back down and is fighting desperately to the death, Rona, upon realising her mistake, backed down pretty quickly and surrendered. Really proved herself a capable leader there because she can now withdraw the survivors and evacuate the fort. And in doing so, minimise further losses (Rose users aside). Had she been a moron and not heeded the warning, Fort Stella would have been sacked. And that would cost the Demons a hell of a lot more than a withdrawal. You don't see antagonists who can actually learn from this sort of mistake very often in anime, so it was refreshing to see.

Just to show how busted the MC was since the beginning, Makoto beat Tomoe (Shin at the time) with relative ease and like no experience. But Sophia didn’t even consider battling Shin until she already battled every other superior dragon other than Root/Luto. Not to mention all of the other several power increases he’s had since then.

i forget if it was the LN or manga but sofia doesn't dye but her mom (the other dragon thay can change her gender) reversed her age and erased her memories and the MC seems to be oblivous to that happening it's really messed up

That's what I wanted to see! Makoto obliterating Sophia with no sweat. Though I did not expect for him to be so dominating both in fight and with words. He cooked her good, all of them actually. Great pay off to the season!

So about Sophia being charmed or not... minor *spoiler.* Tomoki's charm is really insidious. Even if you resist it, some of that power still manages to cling to you and it tries to worm its way into charming you. The longer you spend around Tomoki the deeper the charm gets even if you have resistance. Makoto is extremely resistance to Tomoki's ability due to his mana being huge. Makoto is sensitive to the charm thanks to dealing with the charm clinging to Tomoe. Given enough exposure Tomoki can charm anyone. Think of it like ink being dropped into a pool. Most people are a glass, Sophia is like a bucket, and Makoto is like an ocean.

Fun fact in the web novel (fan translation) makoto was called devil not majin. Also Sooooo close, shiki getting the time to shine. I NEEEED IT

I love these past few episodes I think the build up is now paying off, the constant frustration and how everyside has try to screw with our boy. humans are now in his debt, the demons tried to play with our boy lost the battle and lost a fortress and have yet to find out they are losing a region to our boy and the demi humans. also the godess being demanding and and our boy again comes out on top shows he isnt just some naive hero he is an opportunist and has shown that throughout the show I'm loving how everyone tried to play him and now he has them in his palm at his mercy.

I absolutely love how the demon girl progressively realizes just how utterly easily he could have killed her at any time. It's like if Clark Kent's jerk coworker suddenly realized that he's been spitting in Superman's coffee for the last month. 😂

You know my biggest suprise this episode is he's still underestimating himself. But hopefully after this fight, he'll realize. I especially can't wait to see shiki solo mitsurugi. Now for Sophia, I know it's impossible but I hope she becomes makotos subordinate. She has interesting potential and I'd like to see how it'd go if she followed under him

Hey, just as a reminder that his healing field is incapable of healing himself and aside from practicing magic his tried to master perception magic under the tutelage of his dragon companion which has allowed him to better utilize his preferred weapon (the bow) and remember that attack that he used on shiki (1Million for 1cent), he developed that into multiple 1 foot needles that has the property of each attack being unique (in preparation for enemy's that have gluttony's powers that prevents them from being damaged by the same attack or magic twice).

The fight being one sided was a little underwhelming but just goes to show how powerful Makoto is and could easily wipe out anyone and everyone who gets in his way

All the world building has paid off. Throughout the entirety of season 2 makoto has been through so much shit. At this point he's like a disgruntled dad who has had enough with his kids' bullshit. Makoto is so done with everything. I wonder if he calms down when him and tomoe/mio get it on. the pattern for the laser beams reminded me of the dot patterns on the regis'. Watching him beat on Sophia was satisfying. This is by far the best fight of the season. the action during the tourney and what happened after was kind of mid But this fight is exactly what I was looking for. This is by fr one of my favorite anime worlds purely on the world building alone. The authors know how to build a world. I am looking forward to s3. Relatively speaking, it should be more fast paced from here on out. I just hope they don't sacrifice storytelling and world building for action. Season 1 was so fun, s2 for most people is a necessary evil, but now s3 is going to be lit for everybody.

For next ep., I want to see where Io lands--did Makoto pick a direction? And I suspect the reason Fort Stella falls will be b/c of the Shiki v. Lancer fight as Makoto is making a point of not going all out. As for Makoto v. Sofia--she's brought out scales and wings, is a breath weapon next?... Honestly, the only way I see a rematch is if Lancer does that substitute magic with those double-ended blades to retreat/escape w/ Sofia.

Sofia will face a fate worse than death hehehe. At this point Lancer is just a joke and so are the heroes. Edit: the Mana stuff will get touch upon on it much later on, hopefully we get Season 3.

I actually like the color. It's disgusting but I feel that's the point. It's so much condensed mana, it's not supposed to be cool at that point, it's supposed to be disturbing. Like seeing so much food that you feel nauseous without even eating it.

With all the skipped content and 'gist' contents, I was ecstatic that the condescending version Makoto vs Sofia was as it is and it was glorious. This was the prine reason I was hooked on to this show in the first place. We don't often (almost finger counts) get MC that behave according to their power level or have personalities that doesn't verge on Kumbaya territory. This is exciting, refreshing and funny as well. Demons might be thinking they awakened something dangerous but let's be real, this is all that shit goddess' fault. She has done something really stupid. And Hyumans, demons, demihumans, Sofia and Lancer alike, are in a for a very rude awakening, lol. This season though, I admit was a lot here and there, spread too thin like a slice of bread over much butter and they condensed juicy bits to an abrupt end half and I hope this doesn't affect its future season's possibilities. This could've been planned a bit more if they were going to skip much anyways. But again, I understand why. And now, I am sure they will skip another thing and conclude it with fight at stella because I don't think they will introduce those guys for season finale (unless there are more episodes, 26 count like the Golden era) This series has good potentials and I would like for those to be animated and voiced by exciting seiyuus, even if animation isn't like the levels of Yaiba and Dainana Ouji.

Luto is busy enjoying himself watching Makoto show his power, it's funny how he has got a first person perspective on him. Writing this reminds me of another savage moment from Makoto where he tells Sofia that he frequently has lunch with Luto, that gave me a good laugh. I am looking forward to seeing Shiki finally get a somewhat worthy opponent, I want to see him in action and be able to let loose some.

Makoto is actually quite quick to anger. He's usually pretty good at keeping it to himself, but piss him off more than once and it's your ass on the chopping block.

The mc is constantly holding back. His mana is high enough to start killing lessers by sheer pressure alone if he forgets to hold back. And has been seen a few times when he is emotionally disturbed. And his power still growing. And right now, not enough to clash with the hyuman goddess but can alert another god. More then likely she will consume her partner for the final boost / betrayal.

I think the fun part is he's still wearing the rings and the jacket so his output is still not even close to full.

Btw, Rona does not yet know about how his minions have trashed the garrison of that territory he has claimed.

3:56 the sad part about that is that Makoto's mana armor was supose to look like a Susano from Naruto, according to the LN description, fans have the theory that in the anime they did this to avoid problems with Naruto's IP, but Naruto didn't invented the Susano in fact other ip like Shaman King had already pretty similar habilities to Naruto's Susano, however I don't understand why make his mana armor look so ugly, when at least it has to look like a Samurai armor, maybe for the sake of animation it was difficult to balance something that looks like a Samurai armor but at the same time has slime like texture and funtionalities, but I don't know.

This has definitely been the most satisfying episode this season, watching these arrogant jerks either get smacked around or realized they effed up by messing with the wrong person. Can't wait to see where the season ends. I've read some spoilers from the light novel so I can shed some light on some of the things pondered about in this video. Only keep reading if you want spoilers! Spoilers ahead. Last warning about spoilers. If what I read is true, Sophia won't die after losing to Makoto. Instead, what's-his-name, the perverted dragon, will erase her memories and she'll think she's just an ordinary adventurer. Whatever baggage she's carrying will be gone. Later on, someone shows Makoto visions of alternate timelines where he made different choices like officially siding with the demons or becoming one of the Heroes. In every other timeline, Makoto becomes a genocidal maniac and brings about the end of the world. The current timeline is the very best one anyone could ask for. Guess in those other timelines he really did get pushed past his limits and just didn't care anymore.

Makoto trolling while dominating is truly wonderful. Hyped for Shiki's fight next time as well

Oh why must these episodes fly by so fast 😭 i've seen many one sided ass kicking in isekai but this was like swatting a fly really really for Makoto. Oh well ,either way the dragon guy will get an equal ass beating as will . hahahaha This is what happens when an OP isekai character had had enough of that world's bs hahahaha. Cant wait for more of this show !

he's a demi god really, he has the power, the Anime doesn't really do it justice but it's still a good anime. bro is in his glow up phase right now. he always had the power he just didn't know how to utilize it which he's figuring out. Last time Makoto overwhelmed Sofia with devastating magic attacks so she wouldn't get the opportunity to get back on him. It was a completely one-sided battle. This time Sofia actually had the opportunity to fight back, but nothing she could do had any effect on him whatsoever. It was a completely one-sided battle. I just love the two different very flavours of curbstomp Makoto's given her.

Lona know that mess up with him is really a bad idea 😅 Shiki could win against Lancer but I think Makoto will finish the job based on the Opening' end 🤔 I hope if a season 3 happen, that the wait isn't gonna be too long! But with how busy JC Staff is actually, I think the wait is gonna be a bit long in my opinion 😬
