Watching games like this makes me see how much power the survivors have over the game. At this high level if the killer doesn’t tunnel, there is no way to win.

Heavily depends on which killer is on the field. I wouldn't agree about nurse or blight games for example

@@riccogro3563 this is true. At this level it seems like the survivors trample over the killer uncles it’s nurse or blight and then the survivors get decimated. I dislike this balance a lot.

@@ppo190if the best survivors bring the strongest stuff to win then the other side should do the same aswell if you try to play padded jaws trapper and complain about the game being survivor sided then you’re the problem

@@GenrushsimulatorNo, the problem is that DbD is clearly a survivor-sided game at its core. You could place a top tier Trapper with best perks and addons and he would still lose super hard against a team of 4 top tier survivors with no perks and items because that's just how this game functions on a fundamental level. Does competitive dbd force you to wear a base skin for less confusion or is it just a choice by the players since ik sometimes they aren't wearing default skins

This is a little late, but they usually wear dark skins so they’re harder to see if they’re being a bit stealthy

Yes and the reason Ace is commonly run in comp teams is because he’s also the quietest survivor in the game

When I watch games like this where the best players play, and I see how the killer has to play a certain way to even just have a chance, it shows just how survivor sided this game is. It’s not an opinion the proof is everywhere and videos like this

In all fairness it only becomes extremely survivor-sided when external comms come into play. Take that away, when you play the game as it's meant where you cant speak with other survivors, then it becomes fairly more balanced. To add to that, I'm new to the DBD competitive scene so I'm unsure if this idea has been explored, but has there been any concepts of proximity chat based tournaments? I feel like that added depth of complexity to it will remove a bit of the power that survivors have while still allowing a fair bit of communication.

@@shenelljohnson74 even in in solo Q if survivors even have at least 1 brain cell it’s not that bad. Especially if your mmr is really high where you’ll get teammates who will always be at most above average . In my solo Q games I escape usually all the time because I get lucky with teammates or the killer is just not that good where my deaths are usually because of myself more than my team. Though I will admit that not having communication does make this game harder for survivors regardless but also consider how it makes the game even more difficult for killer when there is communication. That’s why swfs are so damn overpowered and there should be a feature where killers and survivors can have a mode where there’s no swf and only solo players. If killers want a challenge then they can choose the mode that allows swfs.

@@blckorb6322 Solo Q it depends on what killers you go up against according to you you escape all the time, the killer most went easy on ya or y'all was getting easy decent killers players because majority of my matches is against skull merchant, huntress, nurse, plague, blight or spirit and yes all them usually pre-camp, or tunnell the weak link by all of them using meta perks and power to win the game Edit: there is no other explanation for that reason why YOU are getting out escaping all of your games and even if you are escaping a few times the game still gonna give you sweaty killers sad thing is it'll be better if I can see a recording video of you getting out of it, I keep getting 50 to 60 or 100 prestige players yet they go down like spilled milk i know it just a number but it just shows killer's these days don't have a issue at all
