We've decided to home school, Alhamdulilah. It's been a real blessing. Even documenting it has been fun. Sheik Hamza Yusuf was one of the inspirations to do so. I think it is becoming more popular especially because of the pandemic and some of the value systems being pushed in public school. If you are thinking about taking the leap and home school your children, just fly off that cliff. You're going to be great, insh Allah.

السلام عليكم I am a homeschooling mom from America but living in Egypt. I want to know if it would be okay for me to share our journey in your comments. We now live in Egypt and I’d love to share videos with lesson that we’re doing with my kids and share it here too. They are only 5 and 6. My hope is to show that this series can be done by anyone and to just motivate and promote learning Arabic to other Moms and Muslims alike 💪♥️ جزاك الله خيرا

Salam, so which school they attend now in Egypt? as far as I know, the government now putting a lot of restrictions on islamic schools in Egypt

I truly wish that I as a parent made up my mind with my husband BEFORE we had our children how WE planned to live our life , would Islam be just a base for us or would it be our entire lifestyle? We kind of figured it out ( and are still figuring it out ) as we went along and so our kids who are now teens and a preteen have been in the public school system and I have a few regrets so my advice is get spiritual AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, so you don't have any regrets .

I went to a diversity School with all all cultures and religion it was public school city of decatur schools in Georgia.

these kids are actually smart.....smarter than the public school kids....but how can they conform to our Canadian values which promotes diversity?

That's a really good question Eric F... And its my humble opinion that these kids experience diversity in canada everyday whether its going to the grocery store, or going on a picnic over the weekend, dealing with their neighbors... etc, When i was in public school, i noticed that school didn't really provide me with a true social experience. we were asked to sit quietly at our desks and finish worksheets.

Hello Erica. Isslaam transcends all race and culture. It relates to something much deeper, more critical to happiness, more enduring than life itself. The soul. Never is intolerance towards those of other faiths ordered. It is only in defence of hate, that we are ordered to attack, as you would a thief, or a crime more heinous. Peace.

Flying Unicorn !! /Dana ayoub yo are trying to talk about Ancaster Meadow school because that’s the school I am from and that is good good good the people are nice some are beef makers but the teachers are nice some have anger issues some are funny and be friends with them the school is good on its own way but the events of were nice but they still are some were gone so ya
