well while it wasnt allowed in the trial, he was on probation at the time for theft and having an illegal gun. so while the 3 dudes were justly convicted, he actually walked onto someone elses property, while on probation for a theft and gun charge.thats an insane risk. see, little kids playing and a couple love birds can get away with it. and yeah, I am not buying he was looking for water... this isnt the rio grande, theres stores literally around the corner one the main street.

@T V Just curious ... does Arbery -- choosing NOT to run across a field or an unmowed lawn, or across a ditch _ shallow or not_ or across and into someone elses's property ( which could even make him look more suspicious to someone like yourself ) -- does that in any way make it okay for McMichaels to kill him ? McMichaels says Arbery was in Larry English property and that he MIGHT have stolen something. English says Arbery didn't take anything. Now -- get this -- Larry English -- PROPERTY OWNER -- says he barely knew McMicaels and NEVER asked him to patrol or protect his property. SOooo .... IF Arbery was a "threat " for looking around English house - under construction - WHAT the HELL was McMichaels, when he trespassed on the SAME property with a shotgun? WHO was more of a threat ? Who was a threat when he and his daddy -- armed with firearms, TRESPASSING -- confronted homeless people on the dock , when the owner of the property says HE NEVER asked them to protect his property ? I'd love to hear you rationalize, how an armed trespasser is less of a threat just because he lives closer to a property that he doesn't have any permission to be on either ? Please ... please do. They can appeal all they want. They're guilty.

@T V I accept the juries verdict in the Rittenhouse case, but I do wish the prosecution had asked Rittenhouse a few more questions, like --- " How much did you or your friend spend on that Smith & Wesson M&P 15 with the 30 round clip and the live ammunition ? -- $1200.00 -- And how much did you spend on the medical supplies you were going to use to help save the lives of -- well -- Mr. Rossenbaum or Mr. Huber or for Gaige Grosskreutz ? ---- $ 80.00 to 150.00 including the pack -- How much for self contained PA system, so that you could help calm the crowd, or CLEAR ID - like a RED CROSS so people would know you're a "trained" medic ? --- NOTHING? -- Since, as it turns out, you were the only person who NEEDED to kill anybody, did you and your rifle deter or prevent any violence or did it cause a violent reaction in an already volatile situation ? Just curious .. was that a rational, or careful decision? Did you think about the consequences? If you were really so fearful for your own safety, would it have been wiser to stay home rather than arm yourself to enter a situation that you weren't trained or prepared for ? I wasn't there. So, I 'm not going to claim it was a bad verdict. Somewhere along the line, Kyle should have been sent home early.

@@beaujohnson7399 Happy Thanksgiving first off. It was reported that there were a string of burglaries in the area for a while. The owner of the house stated that he’s had equipment stolen several times so he set up a camera. This was never reported on MSM. MSM only reported what the Left wanted. The 3 were doomed from day 1. Arbury failed to surrender and wait for the police to show up. Instead, he fought the son, tried to attack the father and fought the son for the shotgun from the son. The father had a gun but never fired once. I would say manslaughter in the 2nd but not murder. This was not a premeditated act. MSM never reported that Arbury had been seen by many stealing equipment and breaking into homes prior to the incident. Arbury had a burglary charge prior to all this happening. I think justice was served. If there had been any evidence that Ahmaud was burglarizing property, things might have been different. But the prosecutors didn't have any evidence, and neither did Travis when he chased Ahmaud down that day. I get it that the suspicion was probably justified, but what Travis did was akin to an execution without trial. That is not how things work. You do not chase down someone and point a gun at them just because you are suspicious. And you certainly don't claim self defense if you end up shooting that person. Without proof of any wrongdoing, all we have is a bunch of armed people cornering and pointing guns at someone for no other reason than looking into a house that was under construction. So if anyone was attempting to defend himself, it was Ahmaud. Did he burglarize property previously? Maybe. We'll never know. There was no trial about it. He was just murdered on the street instead.

@pazzodi3
@pazzodi3 2 жыл бұрын
Defund the police is probably the incorrect wording to the concept.. it means using taxes by the people to use in better means, example when people with mental illness are behaving strangely we should have another agency we can call not the police, people attempting suicide like the case of the Asian young man that was killed by police recently, there should be another agency that is called and police should step down and wait not have their weapons drawn.. defund the police only means having other options... We still need the police because obviously when regular citizens try to uphold the law in their own hands of justice things can go awfully wrong.. police are essential, however we need other options in different scenarios.

@onionbelly_
@onionbelly_ 2 жыл бұрын
A state's statute may define several different ways in which murder can be committed, typically involving different states of mind (i.e., intentional murder; knowing, but not intentional, murder; murder by a reckless act; murder by a killing during the course of another felony; etc etc etc depending on your state law). The prosecutor will charge any of these variations that could possibly apply.

@@spencer8754 The multiple counts being read for each defendant are felony murder, which broadly speaking is charged when one commits a felony, and a murder occurs as a direct or indirect result (even if the actual murder is committed by someone else). I understand the multiple charges reflect the individual felony charges (eg instances of aggrivated assault, false imprisonment) against the defendants that all contributed to a murder occurring.
