I love the scene with Baylen, you see the father and son but the daughter is not there...either broken down or weathered by time. But Ahsoka is there, and the daughter saved Ahsoka by giving her last energy ( if i remember correctly, i could be wrong) so Ahsoka is like the symbol of the Daughter ...well in my head anyway Also great reaction...genuine

I made a mistake by reading insta comments on this show first thing after finishing the finale. Everybody is so nitpicky. I was HYPED, this show is THE perfect combination of live action, TCW and Rebels. I thought this last episode was simply fantastic and I’m hungry for more!!

I think Liev Schreiber or Gerard Butler might be able to pull off a Baylon. If Baylon's quest is important, I pray they continue it and do not shelve the character.

There was a subtle reference to the animated Rebels by Ezra when he was building his new lightsaber, saying the blade emitter was too narrow. It wasn't much but it felt like Filoni's way of recognizing the narrow blades in Rebels. Great series & I hope there is a season 2!

Do you think Ezra will take Jacen as an apprentice? I mean, with what we know so far, Jacen hasn't had a father figure present and of course Hera has done an amazing job, but Ezra could potentially guide him and continue the Dume-Jarrus/Bridger line of master and apprentice. I mean, in the end they are family, not by blood but by the link they share with Kanan.

Watch parties on your channel would kick ass. I miss opening night in a theater with fellow fans too. For a couple of years there that was my Christmas. It was good times. I think the franchise and the fans deserve that. I think this show is building for that to happen. It's going to be damned fun! I can feel it.

One of the things I liked most about this episode was that they actually used Thrawns Rebels theme in one of his scenes. Plus Baylan standing with the Mortis Gods was such a cool shot. My next ideal project would be a film or series possibly titled Heir To The Empire where we follow Thrawn re-uniting the Imperial Remnants and wrecking a decent chunk of the New Republic just as he did in legends. Most people have wanted a show from either the Empires perspective or with the Empire actually being competent and threatening. Thrawn's campaign could be the perfect chance for that.

I think you're right about the Mortis connection. We've been told that Anakin would serve as father which he seems to be doing now. I think Ahsoka, when her time comes, will be a closer to center form of the daughter. I've wondered about the role of son. Some say it has to be Kylo/Ben, but I really hope not. Could Baylon be a closer to center version of the son to counterbalance Ahsoka? Maybe, keeping the Force away from the extremities.

Ezra's actor was really good with the lightsaber

I've got a feeling that either Huyang is the key to get back (like he recorded the Hyperspace Trajectory while inside the whale) or the Mortis Gods will provide them with the ability to get back. Since Ahsoka is connected to the Daughter, she might be able to call Purrgil's to the planet to help her out but they're going to need to do a season 2 to do all this, I can't see Filoni trying to explain all this in one Star Wars movie.

That was sooooo good. I loved it. Baylan and Shin's stories are for the next season. Shin has lost faith in both Baylan and their cause, and never had any love for Thrawn or the Witches. She's taking command of these raiders now. Baylan finally revealed what he's looking for. The Mortis Gods power. So cool how the statues of the Father and the Son were there, but the Sister was all crumbled with no head. And what was the statue of the Father pointing to. Maybe he's pointing to something related to their power or knowledge. We'll find out next season when they can really tell the story. Really looking forward to seeing Ezra meet Jacen for the first time too. I'm gonna cry. Can't wait.

Skyman has been my new go-to for Star Wars content the last few years and honestly never fails. I love the genuine reactions like the ones we all have watching the shows. And while I agree and hate the sequel trilogy myself I have to say you can see now that Filoni is really trying to mend the disconnect between fans and sequel trilogy fans whether we like it or not; you can see it with Ezra not using a lightsaber and even the conversation about Masters making the greatest mistakes that the Padawans have to amend ie. the talk with Yoda and Luke in the Last Jedi (trust me I despise that movie too) but now more than ever it’s all beginning to piece together and I can’t help but see those connections unravelling which is why… While other fans have a theory that THE SON is either: Ezra, Luke or Sabine but does no one else think it could be a GRAND-SON IE. KYLO REN? While I personally also dislike the sequel trilogy I know it has its fans and I definitely know that Filoni is trying to mend that separation from the fandom. So wouldn’t it be perfect to have Kylo take over as the Son? I think it’s definitely clear now that Anakin is the Father and Ahsoka the daughter, it makes sense to have someone closely related to Vader especially in his lineage to become the Son. Especially since it’s Vader calling to Kylo originally in the Force Awakens, Filoni can easily retcon Palpatine calling to him and make it Vader calling him as the Father trying to prevent his son’s fall to the dark-side but have that manipulated by Darth Sidious by the time of the Sequel Trilogy. And yes you could argue he’s already part of a force Dyad but it also makes it even more the reason to his power as a Mortis God eg. A Force Dyad, Part of the Skywalker Lineage and trained by the clone of Palpatine himself. Perfect tie to the sequel trilogy to make everyone happy. And to any Rey fans too, we can have an adventure of Rey finding Mortis to be with Kylo/Ben Solo.

I had no idea I was watching the finale, it was really awesome!!! Anakin force ghost and Sabine's Jedi abilities kicks in and the duel between Morgan and Ahsoka OMG!!! I think the way Ahsoka ended, if there is no more seasons after this, I'm sure there's going to be another mini series to pick back up where Ahsoka left off.

Loving Anakin and Hayden in the show but moving forward I’m at the point that Filoni should do a separate Anakin series just before his demise to Darth Vader if they want to bring Hayden Christensen back

Overall this series was definitely aimed to set up and put the chess pieces in place. In that regards this series did just that. It's a good season but could be better. Some of the writing is wonky, definitely some scenes could be re written better. There is way too much unreasonable hate on this show. It's nice to see another content creator appreciate the lore/mythology/call backs we got for this series. Overall I enjoyed it.

I love the look Hanna gives Ezra, when not seeing him for awfully long time.

I feel like Dave F wanted to make Baylon, Ahsoka and then the apprentices to a story about the mortices people. But with the actor passing, I think it has now made it hard. So we may not see a season 2 for a long time.

Ahsoka show has resonated on so many levels. The many callbacks to rebels and then Anakin. It's been full of great, much needed surprises. The only thing I can't overlook or get over is Sabines emotionless reunion with Ezra. Especially after betraying Ahsoka, thinking she had died and risking so much. So far her character is feeling flat, almost unworthy to follow the sucession of the previous masters. Count Dooku, Qui-Gon, Obi-wan, Anakin, Ahsoka... and now Sebaine. So far, she doesn't fit in my honest opinion. Great show, though.
