Where we go what we eat, etc. Plus control over our finances, general income would be very hard to sustain because there are many people who like to gather but because the money will expire and it always recycle so to speak its not unfeasible. There are gonna be a few companies in the world that are gonna control everything we need and done.

It's simple: You work and earn money. if I sell food, you buy it and I pay taxes. Now, if you have no job but government gives you money, you keep buying food from me. I keep paying taxes, government keeps giving you money, you keep buying food and the economic model keeps working (if you can say it works now). That's UBI.

@@ronilevarez901 Why would I make food if robots can do it for me and I can live off the UBI? Why would I be motivated to work when no one else is? Why would the wealthy pay taxes just to have a some returned to them in spending? I don't see the UBI model working, to me it just turns into ultra wealthy becoming feudal lords waiting for the peons to die out so they don't have to support them.

@@ronilevarez901 But you are missing a major point here. Government pays you with the use of taxes right? if no one is working to pay taxes then what? I'm all for AI and want it; just that no one is ready for it. And WW3 is likely to start over it. Just re-read you statement and you may get the idea why.

@@OZtwo well, in my country we have VAT, so everyone pays taxes every time we make a purchase, no matter if we want it or not, so I never thing about countries like USA that don't have that tax, sorry 😅 Government handling money (almost ) universally is already implemented in Mexico. Single mothers, students at most levels of education, people with disabilities and the elderly have been getting a monthly payment from the government for the last few years and the world is still spinning here. However it's not without issues, that's true. Political opposition and rich people all are against this "universal aid" system and some economists warn that it might cause a major economical disaster to Mexico in the upcoming years. Only time will tell, but so far we are an unwilling field test that shows UBI might work in other countries. If that holds when applied worldwide, that's another question. And war, well. Humans don't really need big excuses for that, right?
