Except Hutchinson doesn't throw stupid tantrums that cause penalties negating any of the loss of yards/down.

The man is from Detroit, went to Michigan, got drafted by Detroit. One of the few times I see someone and think they might not follow the money after there contract is up. If he chose to stay in Detroit for his career he instantly becomes a homegrown hero for the people of Michigan.

In a normal season,yes. Should be,but Sauce is arguably the best CB in the league or at least top 3. Awards be damn though. I'm just glad Hutchinson is just very good and combined with Houston being a versatile pass rusher on the other end and Pascal potentially becoming almost as good as a DE as Hutchinson with his great athletic upside,the edges are pretty scary. Now,if only we could get help for McNeil.

Over pursuing was a big one at first for him. That last bears game, fields was contained about 3 times by hutch just patiently surveying him and buying time. He’s fun to watch, will only get better

I wouldn’t say crazy his bend is average at best and for a taller guy is arm length is surprisingly short still one of my favorite players for sure though and definitely worth the number 2 pick

Houston is going to be "Da Problem" along with Hutchinson for a VERY long time. Even if Houston never really develops beyond "3rd down pass rusher," he does that so damn well already that he's always going to have a place in this league.

Travon is gonna take a while to get there considering he wasn't much of a pass rusher at Georgia,but still has some great athletic upside. Thibodeaux on the other hand may not have the sacks,BUT he quite a presence on the field considering his pressure rate.

Because playing corner it's not just about INT. There aren't many shutdown corners in NFL history, Sauce hasn't allowed a single TD, and QB's have a 61 passer rating when passing his way and that's on over 80 targets. It's completely unprecedented for a rookie corner considering how difficult the position is. Hutch has had an outstanding unprecedented season in his own right but he still had some growing pains this year. Sauce quite literally played like a top 3 corner in the league though. He's most likely gonna be a first team All-pro lol

@@Jonathan-cz4ky Congrats to Sauce. Incredible to no doubt. But Hutch as done something that has only been done once before in NFL history, by a HOF D-lineman. Rookie shutdown corners are rare. A rookie D-lineman doing what Hutch did is even rarer.

Like Jamaal Williams broke Barry Sanders record of touchdowns in a season but we all know that doesn't mean he was better than barry sanders. That's not really a good point. It's way more rare to have a completely dominate season as a rookie CB than it is to break some obscure record. It's not like other DE's couldn't have the ability to have 3 INT, aidan was just in the right place right time. That's not something more deserving of someone being dominate the whole season. when they vote for DROTY it's not even going to be close lol

Hutch over Houston imo. Houston playing only 6 games is a huge reason why he won't win it. But he'll prolly be top 4/5.

@@misterceo2168 most definitely … he was averaging two sacks a game . Got injured week 9 … literally had 8 more games left .. left the season early with 6.5 sacks …I could literally see him getting those 2 sacks a game for those last 8 games … putting him at 22 sacks for the season
