I like Aidan too and have no doubt that he could fight inside if he had to, but amateur boxing rewards jab and grab tactics like this. Too much in my opinion. You can see how far guys like Okawaza from Japan have gotten without ever throwing anything other than a jab to the body--pure poison to watch. Can't really fault Aidan for wanting to win without damage if the system lets him get away with it.
