Shaan Masood is gold for Pakistan cricket, Pakistan played well primarily because of Masoods positive intent and mindset. Poor fielding let us down yet again and 50+ extras made a big difference. Also i think Imam should be rested, give chance to someone with positive mindset as an opener.

I was there at the MCG on the first day of the match and I witnessed the most beautiful crowd there. I saw Aussies supporting Amir Jamal with claps and whistles, I saw them clapping for the fielding efforts by Pakistan at the boundary line, It was such a beautiful environment. Previously, I’ve been to the MCG for PAK and IND world cup match and PAK vs ENG world cup final and I can tell the difference between Aussie crowd and Ind and Pak crowd.!

I was at both matches of the World Cup. India- Pak match crowd was beautiful. There was only friendly banter. For the finals, there were some salty people in the crowd but again the stakes were high for Pakistan and we were never on top. So naturally, we wouldn’t like the game.

It was clear not out, there was a huge mark on his hand. Some bad decisions and poor Fielding cost the match. Abdullah dropped 2 catch each innings and the partnership because of the miss chances was more than 200 runs..

Shan masood is a great choice for a captain. Shah is confident , has good game awareness and was absolute treat to watch. Fearless fit for modern game as it has evolved. If other players dont contribute even if you make Sir Bradman your captain you will still not win.

Poor third umpiring that Rizwan wrong decision changed the game. But happy to see Pakistan putting some fight. I think Iftikhar should have been part of test squad. Pakistan playing faster than Aus on their condition. Saud also threw away his wicket for poor shot selection. Bring Saim in next test instead of imam. This was Pakistan biggest chance but as usual they were in a hurry .... like all Asian teams 😅😂

An Honest fact, Shan Masood was brilliant in terms of his approach... That's the fighting spirit we needed to see in Pakistan Cricket, the pace in the attack is missing though. Its the same when it comes to India, We had built a strong Test Team based on brilliant TEST Match Batting by Pujara, Rahane, Rahul, Virat and a few others, while being backed by the strong pace trio of Sharma, Bumrah and Shami that allowed us to win/ tie the series in NZ, Australia, England but in this test match against SA; our bowling was way too thin (Except for Bumrah) and the batting (without any excuses) also became weak, missing the experience of Pujara and Rahane.. Hope Pakistan cricket continues to grow in the face of this fight.. but also hoping that we also continue our Great Run in Test Cricket too.

Not gonna lie, I’ll happily take a loss like this. For a moment, yes, but we had hope, we put the Aussies under pressure and put up a good overall bowling and a (comparatively) decent batting display. Wasn’t expecting much and this performance did certainly exceed my expectations.
