I absolutely love on Christmas day to go from the part I live from fort Pierce to see Hutchinson Island because of Roberts Mansion ❤️

Love your videos. We are in South Florida and moving up to Fort Pierce in about 8months. I heard some horror stories but this video gave us hope

The town isn’t so bad. It has a bad reputation, but many things have improved over the last several years. It depends a lot on which part of the town you move to.

My hometown! And Im so glad you highlighted Dales! I live in NC now and every time I am down there I have to buy a couple of quarts of their sauce to take home. It is the BEST. I subbed. You guys did a great job showcasing the great things in my hometown I love so much. I miss it and you guys gave me some good feelings as I watched. Thank you!

@@ssal8703 it's been amazing. this is more rural than city which I'm OK with it. People here are very respectful to each other. Being from NY had to get used to the slowness and quietness, but I'm adapting very well. Come visit first and make sure is what you're looking for.

Yeah, we’ve heard stories about old Fort Pierce. Sounds like it used to be pretty rough-especially around the “Avenues.”

@@AikenAdventures Hello, Fox Lake Park in Titusville is having their annual Winter Festival of Crafts on November 20, 2021. I have been looking forward to going to that event in a couple of weeks. I like the vendors there. Some of the vendors are outside and some have tables under the big pavilion.

I lived in Ft Pierce and Hutchison Island for 4 years and relocated a business there. If you are looking to retire and own a boat this place is very affordable and pleasant. If you want to work - forget it.

I live in fort pierce, born and raised. it’s not a bad place. Just depends which side of fort pierce your gonna live. But there’s just alot of history in fort pierce which makes it very cool abt this place. There just not that very fun places to do like psl.

The best thing I did was leave this city its nothing to do boring no jobs, I live in Hallandale Beach which is next Miami and Hollywood Beach the night life is amazing and its always some were to go and enjoy yourself

Yeah, it’s unfortunate, but I think the area had a history of those with drug addictions. Seems like there has been some progress in the community over the years.

I agree, after visiting I found in general the reputation was worse than reality, but all Florida towns have issues in some capacity

@@Snappynappybullpen We don’t know what it was like before, but we think it’s a fairly pleasant town. You’re right, though, the reputation was pretty bad for a long time. How often do you visit?

I’ve only been twice, a quarter century apart. I’m looking to relocate from PA and given the improvement I’ve identified it on my short list of destinations. I think it has the most upside on the south-central east coast, while having the infrastructure to support growth. Don’t see many similar opportunities within the tropical portion of FL. Plus under 1.5-2hrs to Miami, Tampa, Orlando. They are building a large new resort hotel, considering commercial flight out of treasure coast intl, and adding a lot of jobs on the waterfront. Huge push by the city for redevelopment.

I agree. Looks like there has been positive progress across the area. My understanding is that, in the pst, the locals tended to try to impede development.

The Eastside of US1 is all clean and purty, go between Angle Rd and US1 on Orange Ave, to see the real Fort Pierce. Or the crime district at the Turnpike entrance. Who are y'all trying to sell on FTP.

Our videos are usually titled something like, “The Best Things to do….” in a particular town. None of our videos claim to be a full review or tour of any town, but just a list and review of the best attractions we can find. We try to focus on the positive aspects of any place that we go. We don’t see the benefit of lifting up and highlighting negativity. There are certainly other videos that focus on the negative aspects of these towns, and a wise person may look at both in order to get a full picture.

Lies , in this video they show literally one area. After 5 mins you are done . Lol don’t be fooled y’all. This is my hometown and there are a lot of good ppl just in a small town trying to make it out.

This video was not intended to be a documentary of Fort Pierce. Our videos focus on activities that guests may want to do while visiting a particular town. None of our videos give a complete picture of any town we visit-that’s not the focus of our channel. The title of the video is “best things” there are other videos that focus on the “worst things.”
