I think this video gave an excellent depiction of a typical Aikido class; if you've ever wondered what training looks like anywhere in the world, this video does a very nice job of capturing the general feeling and content. The particulars, of course, will vary, but the big picture remains the same. Well done!

everyones movements look so smooth. i must admit, i don't think i'd have the guts to go to a class to try it, i'd look like a complete idiot, compared to all of the other students!

I don't know if you'll read this, since you've posted a year ago. I just wanted to say, give it a try. Yes, the first steps will make you wonder, if you always had that many arms and legs to deal with. But you'll wonder how fast this feeling is going to disappear.
