About the author: Rev. Kensho Furuya held a 6th Dan in Aikido, a 6th Dan Kiyoshi in Iaido and was an ordained Zen priest. He founded the Aikido Center of Los Angeles in 1974 and was a direct student of 2nd Doshu Kisshomaru Ueshiba.

I was fortunate to study for about 12 years with him until work related issues did not allowed me to continue, simply enough my new job was too far from the Dojo, and be there at class time.

Thanks for your teaching.. 🙏🙏.. Is there a way to train alone when nobody is available? For example in boxing we can use punching ball but in aikido how to do alone..?? Thanks so much🙏🙏
