This is Kacee's first time watching reaction to the movie "The Other Guys (2010)." Unlike their heroic counterparts on the force, desk-bound NYPD detectives Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) garner no headlines as they work day to day. Gamble relishes his job as a paper pusher, but Hoitz is itching to get back on the street and make a name for himself. When a seemingly minor case turns out to be a big deal, the two cops get the opportunity to finally prove to their comrades that they have the right stuff.

About the why Michael Keaton's character makes many references to TLC, the director had said: "We were trying to write phrases for the captain that were tough-guy euphemisms," McKay said. "We had a draft where he said all this crazy stuff and out of that I started to say, 'Don't go chasing waterfalls,' and everyone started laughing. Then we called it back two more times, and then Keaton was doing them so well, we added more." "We came up with a whole backstory that he drove his son to college and his son played a TLC greatest-hits CD the whole time but the captain was never aware what he was listening to," he added. "We knew at least 35 percent of the audience would have no idea who TLC is, but we were like, It's too funny!' "

When he was telling Mark about the tuna and the lion, you could see on Mark's face that he just wanted to bust out laughing. I had thought this movie was a flop, so I didn't go to watch it. It's just by chance I saw it on TV, and I had tears and snot bubbles coming out! It is now one of my favorite comedies.

I never watched this in theaters, but I was in 8th grade at the time it came out. Very fond memory as I watched it at my friend's house. We were laughing hysterically throughout the whole thing. I'll never forget it lmao I consider it to be such an underrated movie that doesn't get brought up too often when it comes to great comedies of the 2010s The funniest part for me is probably the whole interaction between Eva Mendes, Mark Wahlberg, and Will Ferrell. Absolutely love this movie. Me and my lady went to see this randomly a week or 2 after it came out and we laughed our asses off. I know you all did THE BOYS so if you notice the "Pimps don't cry" is what inspired "Chimps don't cry" the song Crimson Countess Sings season 3 episode 2 of the Boys. 🤣 it's a salute to this movie and it makes it even better. Such a funny movie and such a funny reaction. I love that you guys have been doing buddy-cop movies. One of my favorite genres too. Someday I hope you both react to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) if you haven't seen it yet. Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr are phenomenally hilarious in it as a dysfunctional pair of "investigators" trying to solve a noir-ish LA murder mystery.

Yeah, the first time watching, and heard him say, "Aim for the bushes?". My first thought was like, okay umm... not all bushes are soft and cushy, especially dropping from that height. Some have real sturdy branches that impale you, lol. But as they jumped and the camera follows them down, I'm looking for the bushes *as we all are* and then gasp, they're dead?! What? Lol 😆
