If you play tactical FPS games like CSGO and Valorant, this aiming method could help you. It's not commonly used amongst the professionals, however, Volcano, Kscerato, and Elige have reached the top level using it.

Hello sorry for my English, I spent a year thinking about "how to find your ideal sensi". I ended up in this period reading some articles about the movement of the wrist, in short you find something close to 75 °. But I couldn't "convert" that angle and distance, until I thought of a simple idea, convert it to pixels. I do not know if what I thought is right then I would like your opinion on the matter. I put the resolution of my work area 1920x1080 and did the same with the blank area in paint, on the website I converted this way www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=2d0c0f7c8b444c574292201b2fef8556 (1920 pixels = 20 "). In paint I made the movement of the wrist from radial to ulnar (from left to right, trying to get the maximum amplitude), I found something close to 750 pixels, converting something close to 20 cm, after that I converted mdh 0% for all games www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=c3b980b11f447a3f6f63bcdda0be7931 After that I felt my performance increased between games. I have quick movements in games that use a higher fov and accuracy in games like cs and valorant that use a smaller fov.

I used to play like this because of LoL as well. LoL was the first pc i got into 10 yrs ago. this method was perfect in my opinion because i could move in 90degrees like a star, very accurately. I was a spell-juke god at the game. but the main thing was Bottom Left, to Top Right Swipes and this was perfect for that. I played mid. Now i play other games and its so hard to leave this style but you gotta perfect with what you got. Now i lean with my mouse keys in my arsenal with no forarm technique.

been using this for some time, mostly because the chair I'm using has armrests that sit just below the ''bottom'' of my tabletop, which gives me this natural posture when I place my elbows on them. I've used this style since 2001. Back in the day huge "gaming" mousepads simply didn't exist and consequently the low sensitivity aim style wasn't really that common as there was too much mouse lifting involve, and also because most players were more used to arena shooters as CS really defined the tactical shooter genre :)

Ive been playing like that since i remember myself... It requires higher sensitivity than the high elbow touch. The pros are you adapt faster than the high elbow technique users, but the aim is significantly less on point. The best aimers in the game (Niko, rain, s1mple, xantares) all use the high elbow technique. So the pros and cons are kinda even

Worth mentioning that this aiming method can cause RSI. If you walk around between games and lets your arm dangle to circulate bloodflow, it becomes less of an issue. In particular though, wrist aiming has a high chance to cause RSI because you are anchoring your aim with the bottom of your wrist where your blood vessels are most exposed. If you are worried about this, one of the safest ways to aim is to anchor your arm on the table with the part in between the forearm and the ebow, then make sure your wrist isn’t touching the table at all. When I played csgo I got RSI when I reached global elite and it took me two years of quitting (only maybe 15mins a day of OSU to maintain muscle memory) until my wrist felt better again. When I started playing valorant I got a new mouse and focused on arm aiming. This actually didn’t solve the problem since my wrist was still getting smushed against the table. Only after keeping my wrist elevated had I stopped having problems and all of a sudden I could play for 12hours a day and not have wrist pain. Before I change my position, I could only do 3-4hours before I had to stop and when RSI first starting in csgo the most ai could last was 3games.

Hey Ron I’ve had a question, I notice I used to aim like this but as I’ve added a bit more arm, lowered my sens, and played other games besides cs I naturally moved it a little higher to where the edge of the table is half way up my forearm or in between halfway and my wrist. Do u think this is an okay aiming style? And are there any pros who play like this? I also notice if I’m holding a slightly tighter angle where I know I won’t have to compensate for a wide swing I sometimes move my wrist to the edge to prepare to do just micro flicks with my wrist.

I don't have to worry about where to place my arm on the table because I aim with my whole arm on the table including my elbow and it's very comfortable

Well you cant know if kascerato actually uses his forarm in conjution with his wrist despite having a resting point, for example moving your forearm to the right could make ur aim turn left

Do posture assistance products like back armor not make your posture worse in the long run by reducing the load on those muscles?

hello, what do you think of playing with your forearm over the table but not touching the table with your forearm? i tried this and i felt that it’s easier to look up and down on lower sens like 880 edpi.

Hiko is the master at this play style it helps him control is insanely high sens. Great video it’s always a good day when a Rambo vid comes out!! Hey Rambo I was wondering is a low sens like brax & faze niko bad for a game like valorant, because of flashes, jet dashes & sova darts. I feel like all the top players on Val are high sens players??

@decksteroussnail 3 жыл бұрын
Dodging flashes is more about anticipation and situational awareness rather than having high sense flicks. You'll notice low sense players will lookaway just enough to not get full flashed. Like 90-110 degrees away. While high sense users can do full 180s pretty well in both directions.

Also a big part is just reacting fast enough, I have trouble with breach flashes but with Phoenix I can usually turn away with a full arm swipe in time from the sound or visual hints and whip my full arm back to the where I was just looking.

I don't think NiKo has trouble evading flashes in csgo, but I wouldn't be surprised if rain had a couple bruises due to the incredibly low sensitivity of NiKo and cold

i have been a no forearm wrist aimer for my 17 years of playing fps games, mainly because i had a super small space on the table due to the thickness of the screen back then ( literally takes 75% of my table), it just stuck on me since then, i cant even browse with my arm on the desk, its so awkward for me.

Pros aiming like that as a technique. I aim like that because I'm using an old table with not enough space to rest my whole arm 😂
