@@muriloctn i think it's because giorno is a pretty static character, but also like its so good. i love giorno, his personality, his design, and his concept, though admittedly he doesn't get much development. i really loved abbacchio's arc, the fact that he placed his trust in giorno as he died and kept his teams mission in mind, even in death.

It's always nice to see a new viewer that gets OP1. A lot of anime-onlys don't realize this, but the Jojo manga started in the 80's and we didn't even begin to get a proper anime adaptation until 2012. So finally seeing that opening was emotional af for many longtime Jojo fans, and the drop represents that feeling almost perfectly.

The JoJo manga came out a year after I was born, and I live in Japan so I've been waiting for JoJo to become animated since I was in Elementary School. LOL It was so weird seeing all the other popular Jump mangas getting animated but not JoJo. Even little me (who didn't read JoJo at that time) was confused.

So no chi no sadame (the 1st one) is so iconic, it's the only one that came to mind immediately even tho I've listened to stuff like bloody stream and crazy noisy bizarre town and great days (which is my absolute favourite, as is jojos part 4 in general) so many more times!

2:32 So, the flying letters are things that are used a lot in almost every manga to help to represent a scene. For example, if a character punches another, the word "PUNCH" would be written in Japanese dramatically. These kind of letters are ussually left behind when the anime adaptation, well... adapts, the manga into an anime, but the JoJo anime decided to keep them as it would help the dramatism and energy of some scenes. The most famous JoJo letters are the ones that mean *"menacing"*

i've read the manga in the nineties, with like 4-5 chapters a month.... it was amazing watching the anime was an AMAZING experience... expecting what happens but not knowing how it will represented was good (the Jotaro vs Dio fight, in the manga was stunning, but in the anime, with also the sound effects, the music... I get crunchy underpants ) i would pay with a soul to rewatch it clueless

I'm really glad that so many people are starting to get to know JoJo now, and I'm glad the great openings are helping. I will try to briefly explain the essence of JoJo without spoilers. Each part tells about a member of the Joestar family. Each part changes the main character and he is a member of this family. Because of that character designs are quite different. That's what drew me to Jojo. JoJo talks about the story of a family that finds themselves on an BIZARRE ADVENTURE.

Oh shit it's Jojo's time! I Hope you decide to give the series a try, it starts out a bit slow in part 1, but part 2 (which starts at episode 10) is insane and after that the series just keeps evolving into new entertaining ways, I've been a fan since I read the manga in 2010 and the anime is a very faithful adaptation of it, it does still cut some stuff but nothing too critical, it's still ongoing with the manga starting part 9 soon, and the anime is midway into adapting part 6

the really cool thing about most of the 'remix versions' of some of the openings are based around the idea of the main villains hijacking the opening and showing off their powers. Except for 'crazy noisy bizarre town', that's just reflecting a status quo change and doesn't feature the villain at all.

Basically everyone in every season is a different person. The reason they are called jojo is because they’re in the same family and the start of they’re name had jo and the end has jo so that’s why every jojo part is different. Also stands come from arrows that give stands and stands are physical manifestations of the users soul.

Just so you know, each story arc follows a different member of the family's bloodline. For example, Season 2's protag is the grandson of the Season 1 protag.

The openings are different cause its related to whats happening on the anime like on opening 6 the 2nd one the villain can reverse time for an hour thats why the opening is reversing

Jojo’s is so good. The change in openings give teasers about the bad guy. Each season is a continuing story line to the Jojo family line. So good.

Your character recognition is pretty incredible. You have correctly pointed out every reoccurring character on first watch and realized the similarity between the antagonist from 1,3&4 and the protagonist from 8&9. Bad guess on the guys from the second opening, but tbf it was a reasonable expectation that the characters from the frist op would return for the second.

The fact that so many non watchers are able to recognize certain recurring characters is a testament to just how well they've been designed and adapted, even their silhouette and shape language are supposed to be recognizable. Everyone mistaking Caesar and Joseph for Dio and Jonathan is just a flaw in those earlier designs before Araki really made his own visual language, and the story and design elements still had those generic fist of the North Star influences.

jojo is unique u dont need to expect same protagonist in this one as in other anime series...every part has a new hero and it very fire to watch....the fight are also good......the charecters are so good that u can get the hype of their moments...my suggestion for any other any anime watchers is jojo and one piece

Actually there are 2 other versions to the second last opening you watched (The one before it was in a prison) the first one where the villain uses his ability in the middle and the second one where it get countered

For opening 4, both versions have the same visuals and music except for the end of the second version. For opening 5, both versions have different music, with the second one having slightly different visuals besides color.

fun fact abt the blond guy in the op, he stops time and when he does hat in the op the credits that where going actually freeze in the air, you can see them floating and then going back to flashing and changing

To be fair I've seen the meme too then I started watching Jojo myself too and I agree part 1 is the BEST Potential SPOILERS!!!!! 🔙 I think the Dio and Jonathan as friends , enemies , brothers relationship actually gave me tears it is by far the best out of all the parts I think part 4 and part 6 can compete I guess part 3 too but we don't talk about that it's too overated
