I did include some Valorant footage because I like to compare my training to the aim in game, the primary reason for aim training. So this is my approach to Sixshot and how I learnt to improve, again I opted for smooth aiming and learning how much time I actually had to play with to make the shots when I wanted to, my aim is to gradually work this up to a snappy level and I'm hoping to see some interesting results. Please note.. This is just my methods, you may improve from going as fast as you can - if improvement is happening then by all means go for it, thats the main thing :)

went from 80k to 100k in one go, within 4 days, doing metronome training. Meaning, I set an online metronome to some BPM like 100, 120 or 140 (the later two are rather high) and click to the beat. Even if I KNOW I am not on a target, I force myself to click. Somehow that helped me a lot to improve, because I am taken out of my comfort zone and got to learn actually aiming faster. Did this for 4 days and just, messing about with different BPM levels (all with terrible accuracy), but now, moving back to "free aim", I broke the 100k within 20 minutes.

Thank you mean really appreciate that! I'm always worried that I'm going on a bit too much so its refreshing to hear that someone is interested and goes through the whole thing. I'm working on my delivery side of things.. so future vids should be much more engaging. I hope it helps you improve, I was stuck forever in this task just doing the same thing over and over xD I was very complacent with inaccurate movements and then adjusting - as long I hit the target it was like a 'yay' moment and I would carry on without realising that I was neglecting precision - the thing I was suppose to be training! xD

Hey man! I'm really supportive training, the metronome I find distracting unfortunately but I apply the same principle to beat my mental and push for improvement, so I will always imagine say eliminating 2 targets in one second, just that simple "shot shot shot" rhythm puts emphasis on how overkill some people flick and end up being slower overall. Congrats on the improvement too keep up the good work! :D

Very good guide. A speedy flick that misses makes the speed redundant if you have to re-adjust and will most of the time end up being worse than smooth aim. That being said, in isolated scenarios I believe it is good to practice speed flicking onto single targets as in a 1v1 situation consistency in hitting these single shots may win you the fight as you face more competent opposition. Following this guide will ensure building up a very competent base line without bad habits which then allows for speed tuning in appropriate scenarios. Working the other way around is much more difficult if one is focusing speed and is also inconsistent. This is the PERFECT guide for sixshot, just thought this single thing may be noted when translating to in-game implementation. I may be wrong but I believe it to be true considering I am awful at sixshot but consider myself at least decent at fps.

Ayo Jippy reviews xD thanks bro really appreciate it! I fully agree with what you said actually It feels great to see someone on the same page, I broke down my upper limits into speed training with Gridshot (oh no, its really bad xD) and precision with this side and I realised from both, its important to test your upper limits yeah but ultimately - we can all move fast. It does benefit practicing control at faster speeds but everyone, has issues with precision. Otherwise we'd all be aimbot (abillity to output perfect precision at any given increment of speed), hence why its more beneficial for people to train in precision tasks. However, I still take it with a pinch of salt that this is my method (smooth aiming practice, making it snappy over time with practice and forced speeding up) because others have improved by going at much higher speeds than what I'm recommending. Thanks again bro great comment

this is the single perfect guide on youtube for sixshot. hats (and caps 😂) off to you for this. Are you aim training using the tracking techniques (like pgti and all) that Prof A mentioned? When can i expect a tracking/PGTI guide here :hehe:
@RysPK

Yo yo Omkar :D thank you bro, its interesting you mention that because in this vid there's a triple clip of pretty much PGTI movement but I was trying to demonstrate the Y axis flicking for the initial movement, landing roughly on head (and then subsequently the tracking yes..), I think its a very good task and I notice it in my gameplay quite considerably. Its a task thats very difficult and any movement like that you would do back in game anyway, so with that extra control you just have a better sense of what you're doing aim-wise when those situations occur, I haven't put it into my training yet though but its definitely one that should be used.

One of my biggest issues I’ve seen in my aim despite having 100k on six shot is that when I don expect to see an enemy or if they’re too far I’ll swing around my crosshair like crazy before I micro adjust. Hopefully continuing to practice can fix this
@RysPK
@RysPK Жыл бұрын
Hey man, if you think the response in those situations is due to lack of skill (e.g. unable to aim on them if they are far away, or aiming upon reaction when surprised) then the training will help, it may take a while but as you improve towards the aiming speeds exhibited in game, you will eventually become confident in incorporating that into your skillset as something that is successful. With aim training, this can take a very very long time to get close to the aiming speeds in game (if you aim at diff speeds in an aim trainer vs game). I would highly recommend to practice what you do as a response and try not to panic, easier said than done I know this myself, im very bad for it (I spray body a lot when I can just aim towards head and learn whats actually required, or I dont improve towards it). So for this instance I would say play the game and work on what you do as youve already identified an issue, the next step is applying a change (which is not doing the swinging around like crazy xD - if you have an issue with it) hope that helps dude, I wish you gl!

I seen the West porter video on your grip. Im trying your grip out. It really is different since the palm doesn’t touch the mouse. But for me I find it very hard to make straight lines from target to target(six shot). I’m asking did you have the same problem when you first started with this grip? And if so how did you fix it or did it go away with time after get used to the grip?
@RysPK
@RysPK 2 жыл бұрын
Hey man! Welcome :) Yeah I had so many issues, the grip game about from speed training mostly, I realised I couldn't move in every direction fast enough so it went into fingertip claw and then went into precision training to get better at that side of things. A lot of control comes from the fingers and I was puzzled for a while because it felt really unstable, but overtime and just from going slow and practicing straight lines between targets it helped me assess the speed increases, the distance eye-hand coordination and so on. I don't think people could easily transition into it, the main benefit is speed and access to move in any direction cleanly and usually your arm doesn't get in the way so you don't need to jolt downwards like with palm grip (you'll see I just retract my fingers quite a lot of the time). I'm still practicing it though, the fingers are generally unstable so I need to see how far I can take it in terms of consistency, hence the training xD gl anyway man, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

My biggest problem is one you actually outlined in this vid, in fact all three lol. I would often flick very quickly and drastically overshoot, leading me to flick back quickly and even more inaccurately, turning one flick into 3 or even 5. As a takeaway from your video ill try my best to aim much smoother and focus on keeping those clean lines. My issue seems to reactively flicking in a panic and it's rather annoying. I would love to see more guides like this as i think they'll be very useful! I would like to ask what your arm position and posture is like, since i can'y seem to find a setup that lets me aim comfortably after a while experimenting.
@RysPK
@RysPK 2 жыл бұрын
Hey man! thanks for this.. and your time to write this response it means a lot, I'm glad you've picked up on those points- it was definitely areas I had to put emphasis on because when working on these (less overshooting, smooth>snappy, cleaner lines, etc.) I actually started to see improvement then, rather than aimlessly just pressing play,play,play repetitively which I was doing for quite some time. I know what you mean RE positioning and posture! I've been trying a few things out lately but overall my preferable position seems to be elbow slightly off the table, slightly slouched (I wouldnt say its perfectly straight xD), but also been adapting my aim more over into arm aiming to take less away from my finger aiming. For people like you who are really interested in picking up on these points im certain you'll go a long way, knowing is one part and once you know what to look/work for then its just a matter of time before youre hitting crazy scores, I legit fully believe everyone subbed to my channel can beat my scores.

@@RysPK After only a day of practising, my smoothness had improved tenfold. I could see myself making much straight and smoother lines in sixshot, when before I seemed to rely on that second adjustment which realistically isn’t an option in game. It’s not without its fault of course, I’m nowhere near the accuracy you’ve achieved and can see i need to develop my control over really fine and small movements (which is also related to my arm posture which I brought up earlier). Nevertheless I can safely say that these techniques have already had a drastic improvement over my aim. And after playing some bf1 my confidence in my flicks was so much greater than it was say a week ago. I’ll certainly keep at it, constantly working on mistakes, but the fact I’ve already clocked in 200 hours in aim lab and have improved more in one day than over that entire period when it comes to sixshot is insane.
@RysPK
@RysPK 2 жыл бұрын
@@thebulletkin8393 Man yeah thats it! you've done really well to write up your story here, the smooth approach worked extremely well for me and its the only thing that seen results. Mainly, the shock for me was how overkill my previous movements were (when I was trying to snap everything), and even more so how much time / speed I was losing on all these corrections. When your body trusts that you can hit a shot- youll get very very quick at doing it. When someone tries to snap aim and has to adjust - your body does not allow you to shoot because you know you have to adjust, its a weird effect so when you practice properly (clean lines etc.) you improve phenomenally. Keep up the good work man and thanks for your input! keep up posted with your progress :)
@thebulletkin8393
@thebulletkin8393 2 жыл бұрын
@@RysPK another thing is that in game you simply don’t have the time to adjust. In sixshot the targets are stationary and won’t shoot back, so you have the entire minute to line up one shot. But in say valorant, if you miss you are dead. And I’d much rather avoid the problem of flicking, intentionally avoiding shooting only to adjust to reach the target for a shot, to instead make one smoother motion that has the potential to be far more accurate.
@RysPK
@RysPK 2 жыл бұрын
@@thebulletkin8393 Yeah exactly I fully agree, its what motivates me for improvement; especially what you said with them being stationary because even still in the 300-400ms range that im at with Sixshot I want to improve past that. Valorant too, its often said just take your time and hit the shot xD It's been a big focus for me because I am still reactive (something Ive been working on) and same again - was just flicking, shooting, missing and dying. As shown in tasks it can be slower with this behaviour and its better to just do it right xD rewards are endless, keep it my dude :)

where do you focus on when doing sixshots? Do you look on the target or do you look on the crosshair?
@RysPK
@RysPK 2 жыл бұрын
Hey man, very very good question actually I should have put a part in about this. 2 sides to where I place my focus and it depends on which method im training on the day. If Im practicing my smooth aim, my focus is on the target im going to shoot (no pathing at all!), only when that target is shot I then look at the next one (eyes on target, not xhair). If im pushing for speed (im on 95% acc at a certain speed) and looking to get faster, I then start to path more, so my eyes go to the next target before I've even reached the target before. I'd say about half way through the flick, im then trusting my aim to make up the rest of the shot and im looking for the next target in advance. If I still miss shots, I go back and practice smooth, this is when I notice I start to trust parts of my aim and you actually become suprised with some shots you do hit; "they dont require your full attention anymore". Hopefully that helps! but anything else just let me know :)

When you're shooting, do you focus on the enemy or the crosshair?
@RysPK
@RysPK 2 жыл бұрын
Hey man, when im going for speed I'm always looking at the enemy/target, that's part of the pathing and I have to trust my aim to hit the previous shot while im identifying where the next one is (allowing me to remain fast), as I go to shoot that one im already looking at the next target. However Im not sure there is an issue if someone does look at their xhair, I just found it was easier to just look, then make a movement instead of both in one go (it feels more isolated I guess). When im reinforcing my abilities or just working out kinks, I will be focusing on xhair at all times, it features much more 'active' aim as youre paying attention to the result of your movements so honestly it really does depend on the method youre attempting to apply. Hope that helps! :D

Hey man, apologies for the late response I seem to lose replies on comments for some reason in the action centre. I would suggest using active aim here until you can offset to confidence, so that means looking at your crosshair, not the target. What you want to be doing is analysing what your aim is currently doing, most likely it sounds like incorrect launch angle. Once youve established a cleaner movement towards a target, then this is actually the hardest part of all. Its going back to looking at the target and utilising confidence of the move youve just learnt to use consistently. It sounds dumb but thats all I said and it was painfully, painfully slow with regards to aiming speed too. I basically took everythinig back to its roots of what I was doing and why I was doing it, then for the speed up side you start to use confidence because its the only way you can be fast - its just a sped up version of what youve rehearsed loads of times over

aren't we all! xD It's really fast though, I've tried runs where I only use that and sometimes I get a similar score but its not as consistent (for me anyway). It's not so bad in FPS though, because you're not shooting for 60s and only a few enemies.. so it can be misleading in that sense.. When you focus on close up targets faster though, then incorporate the long ones it serves as the real training anyway.

Ayyy very nice man, honestly beats me! xD to reach that level is actually already impressive as its ahead of most of the pack (top 1% easily)- however that being said theres always 'everything' that can be improved with aim, its a question asked by both bronze and radiant after all. So sixshot for example, we hit shots at what just sub 400ms for this score, imagine the translation if you improved that to 300ms which is a closer translation to the TTK in fps gaming, minus reaction time, and there's people just about doing this now. However you may gain more benefit if you suffer in say kinetic/tracking/reactive, so focusing training there can see a larger improvement over squeezing static gains. If you mean what to do next with sixshot, unfortunately its just rinse and repeat. You just need the comfortability to go even faster, I myself will be returning soon to practice I will be dedicated to hitting some top 10s

Hey man, very interesting question really. The answer is yes but theres 2 areas at work; the precision in sixshot is relatively more demanding and translation only occurs when you exhibit similar aiming speeds in an aim trainer than you do in game too. So, if you do reach say 200ms 5cps in sixshot (if thats what you flick at in valorant) - you will be absolutely deadly/godly aim wise thats for sure. The idea behind harsh precision tasks is to challenge how you do motions, but for a long long time there translation is very little unless there are serious issues being worked on / corrected (i.e. if you cant aim in a certain direction)
