The stormy weather in 6:16 represents the difficulties and hardships in life, especially when struggling to survive through the deaths of loved ones. The overall song’s message is basically saying, Our lives must go on, even though we’ve already lost our loved ones. No matter how much we miss them, we must continue to live on (Terus Hidup).

"Custom" or "Costume"..? Different meaning... Our variety of "customs" consists mainly from Malay, Chinese, Indian, Dayak, Iban, Kadazan, Murut, etc... Different states with different races & different customs... We respect each other"s customs... Meanwhile, as to the "costumes", we are free to choose whatever that we want to wear as long as it is not contrary to our laws. We still have to adhere to a certain dress code if we want to enter the government offices. As for our artists, they are free to choose whatever they want to wear to express their arts and masterpieces, as long as it is not against our laws. So, our artists are able to show, interpret, express & perform the best that they can..

This song is composed n lyrics by Aina Abdul. It's about how she felt during the lost of her father.. Till she has to move on because she knew her father is in peace at a better place. Her longing and how she miss her father are potrayed in the lyrics.

Aina composed this song, specially dedicated to his late father, when her father left her, meeting to his Creator, when Aina 15 years old and her father had the last breath on Aina's lap....so sad, Aina we could feel it..at the end of the song the verse says repeatedly......RINDU...means I missed you...she missed her late dad.

You are right, extravagant dresses or costumes are something very important to our artists. They perform not only with the voice or the music, but the visual as well. And that includes what they wear on stage. To me it makes sense. Performing is an art. This is not a beauty pageant. It's an art, an expression.

Aina Abdul is the 1st artist that comes with costumes since 4 years ago in all her AJL or concerts. Other artist nowadays want to follow her steps. She loves to wear that extravagant dresses. If you notices the stage are clouds during dawn to dusk.. her costume is not bubble that shield her but its her own cloud.. she is the cloud herself.. the lights and lighting represents the weather changes and its reflects well with her story telling.. she want to tell that she miss her late father.. this songs is about missing someone.. we all enjoy her performance and glad she won AJL37 and got best vocal for this awesome performance.. all of this cost her 90k.. ^^

bro. as i understood after being told by my Malaysian friend. the theme of the cloud is herself. She dedicated the song to her deceased father. she misses him very much. the group of the clouds is an analogy that herself and is surrounded by other clouds to TERUS HIDUP (survive) greetings from Sweden.

Bro, this is a prestigious malaysian song award. it was not a singing competition tho. One of the award was the best performance award. Not only her, every singer was trying their best to make the performance looks different than usual or what we’ve seen on MV. Just to add-on FYI. In an interview with regards to Q on her stage attire she explained she draws inspiration frm Lady Gaga and RuPaul Drag show on Netflix. Rightly so coz she's diminutive size with a need besides her vocal prowess to be conspicuously stand out. In Msia she pioneered such stage appearance performance in outlandish special designed outfits, trailblazing for other singers to follow same. Before AA singers were quite decently couture-like, classy attired. Quite blasé! AA is indeed a trailblazing singer, stage performers, composer, lyricist and musician too. Have you watch her singing in Korean and Tagalog - accent to the T as touted by native speakers' reactions.
