Food We Love airs Saturday at 11.35am and Ainsley’s Mediterranean Cookbook Tuesdays at 7.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.

I wouldn’t say this about many celebrities. And certainly not many male ones. But this guy has something very special about him. He’s been around for a long long lang lang time - but he’s always been lovely. Inoffensive. Warm. Decent. Admirable. He’s one of the few people that has had that consistency. He’s a star and, in my mind, should have had more work and more air time.

Lamb patty is my favourite! Beats the sausage roll hands down. I'm so lucky to live in an area of England with such a large immigrant community and you get access to so many culture's cuisines. Red stripe from a glass bottle is better though.
