To add on to your point at the end about other classes being able to use these techniques. While you most commonly see slideshotting from rangers, melee classes can also do it as long as you are in range to get the melee attack during the jump. This let's you continue/finish some skill chains that you might not have been able to while still moving. Especially nice if you have an extendable.

Hey few notes from me as i spent hundreds of hours on ranger training slideshots: - when you face enemy, after using any skill that not sleep/root, your character automatically auto attacks if in range, this makes slideshoting harder, because it messes with your timings of auto +skill in slideshoting. Most people deal with that by NOT facing enemies, then character does not attack automaticaly, - ranger have attack speed cap of 1.2 (auto attack every 1200 ms, achievable by mau form or bestial fury), many players have issues with slideshotting with two skills that stops movement in row and to solve this you need to mix up first mechanic on your video with second (if you will check combat log, second slideshot mechanic does not require auto attack to work), also i found very usefull to mix skills that stops movement with skills you can move for example auto attack + deadshot slide>gale arrow>auto attack + stunning shot slide> second chain of stunning shod with jump slide, you can also do one jump without any skill and then in mid air release direction key + use auto attack, your character will start auto attack animation and when it lands do slide shot, - i did many testing with different ping how it affects slideshotting and jumpshoting, including lan connection (private server on own pc) and my conclusion is that slideshoting and jumpcasting is much easier on higher pings (50-120) anything above makes ranger too laggy, with lan ping (around 6 by ingame ping command) you are not able to slideshot and jumpcast (tested with macros with accuracy around 1 ms). With ping 30-40 after skill pressed you have around 50 ms window to use jump+direction key, this time window is bigger in higher ping, - in jumpcast exact momment of canceling casting by jump + direction key is dependant on skill cast time, for example when you using ranger focused shots with cast time 0,5 s, you should cancel cast at around 50%, with skills like mana treathment (4s cast) it is around 90%. - jumpcasting is basically bug that cancels skill animation if you use it during falling animation after your character hits ground, if your character auto attacks there will be no falling animation and you cant jumpcast, - with lower ping you can use even two skills during one jumpcast, not sure if its usefull, - keep in mind that in jumpcasting you can move right away you pressed skill, - first method of slideshoting increase damage, godstone proc and stun proc on ranger, because auto attacks can trigger both, i noticed that i silence much more with godstone when slideshoting, some korean players used paral in bow because of that, even if knockbacks like stun shot remove parals.

Nice video. But need help. I'm now 30lvl. 60-70 ping. I master how to do jumpshot, helps a lot. But can't to do slideshot.... Could you tell when we need to use slideshot and jumpshot, in what cases? And is it enough to use only jumpshot for ranger in PVP and PvE?

im so happy gladiator gets a gapcloser will make these redicolously unwinnable matchups alot mroe manageable, a melee should be scary to ranges.

Siema sqall. Mam pytanie jak uzywasz bindow do slide shootow? Masz np myszke razera i uzywasz synapsa czy jak jest najlatwiej? bo klikanie 4 klawiszow raczej nei wchodzi w gre nie jestes w stanie chyba tego tak szybko zrobic. Jak to robisz? Z gory dzieki

What about Double Jumping and showing that you can AA while still doing a jumpshot upon landing

I have 20 ms and i can say slideshoting is almost impossible for me. 10 years ago i did it very well with higher ping... Jumpshots are easy. I dont know whats better, but for me i think i will go jumpshotting. Or do someone know the dmg difference? Or has anyone tips for low pings?

you need very low ms... that is the most important point
