I'm a former In-charge flight attendant and I can confirm that this is real...I had a female flight attendant shout: Leather or feather when serving food..and then she denied an over weight lady a beef choice and told her : cows don't eat cows...ture story...and many other stories like it...

My partner just pointed out that they actually reference each of the passengers in the following scenes as they’re walking onto the plane i.e - they call the vegetarian ‘hippy’ and the nervous flyer ‘lesbian’ - I never noticed this before, but adds another layer of brilliance to the writing.

I’ve only watched the first couple of minutes, but am in awe of the way the scriptwriter (or writers) captured how people who abuse their power can distort the truth, intimidate and humiliate innocent people who pose no threat, behave unprofessionally but so self righteously that it can be extremely hard to stand up for oneself!!

Stereotypes about Afrikaners are handled to make the audience laugh, yet at the same time Afrikaner females are portrayed as tough when handling the terrorist, albeit they are also hilariously bad-mannered and ill-tempered; and beautiful!

私は日本人で日本語でコメントします。海外の特に英語圏の国での国内線のCAさんはこの動画程ではないが、ユーモアのセンスある女性が多い。それと飛行機内の乗客に対する反応も日本と違って、乗客の中には理不尽な要求する人は欧米の国では多いように感じる。これが日本国内では理不尽な事いう乗客は少ない。その代わりマナーの悪い客に対してのCAさんの態度は厳しい。しかし愛想がない。座る席によっては態度の取り方は違う。エコノミークラスとビジネスクラスはは違うのはもちろんの事だが、日本人乗客は結構いい目でマナーがいいという評判もあり、海外のCAさんは日本人乗客に対する態度の取り方が違って凄い親切だ。時々ユーモアを言ったりして笑わすことがあり、個人的にアメリカのCAさんは好きだ。私は男性だからよくユーモアの下ネタ言われる時があるが、心地よいものである。❤😍😻😽🐱👄👅💋💃

Hiya there l love this KZfaq clip over the years l met few people from South Africa in London were l am from them 2 lady's on the plane l thought thay did a good job really l love the Afrikaans Accent its like f Dutch and English and German too me l think its great over the years l met few Afrikaans in London l was working in few hotels and l got too meet some people thay was really nice people and thay had very good sense of humor l was.t surprise of that ..lan west

Oh and where do they let you take your water on board? I usually (and by usually I mean every 3 years when I can't avoid it) fly from Vienna and they make you pour out all your water before security check because it might be explosive liquid, then give you the option of buying a small bottle for the price of a Magnum Dom Perignon or refill your empty bottle from the luke warm taps in the smelly windowless bathrooms

I have never known South Afrikaners to be rude, passive aggressive, insulting or domineering. I have always found them to be warm, kind, sensitive and gentle people. They are a delight and Quaht frenklee thir kawndness shood bee sullybrahted.

My father-in-law is South African and he can be quite rude. He's an amazing grandfather and has a heart of gold, but he can be oh so rude!

I had a couple of (somewhat) lengthy visits in ZA with a very comfortable Afrikkans family in the 2000s'. My host and her family and friends and associates were the most civil and kind people I could ever hope to meet. But, they did not tolerate rudeness or suffer fools. Any of the critical remarks that I witnessed were well-deserved, delivered constructively in a very direct proper manner. However, I think I can understand how someone unfamiliar with the culture might be put off by some of the more boisterous individuals one can encounter. This was all endearing to me; they were the most genuine/authentic people I have ever had the pleasure to know.
