This video is so amazing right? For some reasn everywhere I looked there was an epic aircraft! My first takeoff from JFK in a long time and I forgot how amazing Terminal 8 is! The best terminal I've been at out of all the New York airports! ENJOY :D

Thanks. As I look back now. It was...for me. Now I'm passing it on to our six grandkids. Thanks to having a keyboard, and memories I need to share. No different than anybody else. Just learned to appreciate the little wonders of life...while we have them.

Dan. You, and others who post such video's have no idea how great it is for WE older, no longer mobile folks. I did a lot of flying, not as a pilot, during my years in uniform. Much of it was from coast to coast for various Navy schools, or to catch up with a newly assigned ship in South America, Europe, or Africa. As a sailor. I spent many years ON THE WATER in every ocean. But nothing was more exciting than FLYING. Your vids make it possible for people who have never flown....TO FLY. Thanks.

Thanks Dan. Been watching your vids for more than a year. Great stuff. I'm too old, due to heart condition, to do any more flying myself. But, when I did. Always picked a window seat, and that was long before video camera's became popular. So..your vid's bring back great memories...ABOVE THE CLOUDS. Thanks.

So interesting to watch this video in 2019. Air Berlin, AA Old Livery, and United at JFK are all long gone. Much has changed in just seven years!

Has anyone noticed how in Air Berlin's 330s how the spoilers briefly elevate when the flaps are being extended? Anyone know why that happens?

Must have watched this video 50 times over since you uploaded LOL. What a shame they are ceasing operations...flew them first time in 2011 when I was 14 (DUS-JFK), then in 2014 (JFK-DUS-STN-DUS-JFK). The leg space was awful but other than that they were a very good airline. :)
