How to install your new Air Cam system into all Flatwater sails. Key to note for North Windsurfing consumers, it only needs to be installed once!

I'm not a North sponsored rider, and as I simple freerider, so I always avoided cam sails. But sometimes I tried to rig and use a cam sail. I don't think this is a bad idea compared to rigid plastic cams, as it seems a way easier way if rigging, see other videos. Ok this is for first time installation procedure, but then I've seen you slide simply the mast, you pull all the downhaul, you inflate the cam tube and it is done. In a rigid cam sail you have to partially downhaul, pop the cams on the mast, and then fully downhaul. But worse thing is when derigging, I've forgotten the reverse procedure and... Broke the plastic cams! Therefore in the water an air cam can help to water start. Issues instead maybe can come from the bladders inside the air cam, but as we have kiteboarding repairs everywhere shouldn't be difficult to fix a broken bladder. Again, I'm not a racer so I'm good with my easy cam less sails, but being a racer I think I would appreciate this new technology

Hi, the air cam only needs to be installed once, so the first time can be done at a prime location.

I understand this is done once (only when the sail is shipped to you) Curious how easy it is to rig the sail (particularly introducing the mast and ensuring it's properly aligned). I am very much into the sail material (I have tried the Wave and it's amazing), but this camber tech looks dubious...

i assume you install the aircam only once in a new sail then leave it in place forever?

It only needs to be installed the first time, and then it will actually make rigging easier after that!

Not really. I understand we’ll have to do it only once. They probably made it removable for maintenance reasons.

@@youssef_brahem if it's one time, then they should do it in the factory and there's no need for this video at the day of sail launch... Also I guess he would say so since it's makes a huge difference... Let's wait for more info. In general the communication strategy has not been great so far

@@youssef_brahem on the other hand, in the rigging video he did not remove the aircam and just rolled the sail with it, so maybe it's one time only...
